  1. Worried about Salem, he looked pretty upset on the bench with his left knee on ice.
  2. Trac just *willing* the ball forward
  3. He looked very sore going down the steps into the room (no weight at all on injured leg). Waiting to hear anything.

Hopefully it looks something like this
  5. Hated him from the moment he grinned like an @r$ehole WHILE milking a high free during the GF. Didn't get the last laugh though, [censored].
  6. I can not believe they are still going on about that song! It's one thing to get inside the oppositions' heads, it's another when they seem hellbent on keeping us in there. I hope we put them to the sword on Wednesday.
  7. That was incredible! Outstanding behind the scenes vision and audio. Fascinating that in pre season AVB had raised the way the players would pull each other down in the way they spoke about each other ("Lever got 10 intercept possessions"; "But no one was playing on him"). The coverage of the GF was spine tingling and had me punching the air during our comeback. Very emotional stuff.

Curious - where would you rate the 2018 Elim Final relative to the 2021 Prelim?

When Toby Greene returns, umpires will simply have him stand the mark 50m back by default to avoid the hassle.

Just so many memorable performances - that early Test against the Windies where Benaud had the pleasure of seeing a young peroxide blonde leggie take 7/52 in 92/93; exploding into stardom with the Gatting ball - a perfect leg break; bowling Basit Ali between his legs, bowling possibly Chanderpaul (?) on the cusp of the end of a day's play after a theatrical mid-pitch chat with the 'keeper; his hattrick (I was there - paid for a ticket for about 50 mins of play but damn it was priceless); his taunting of P. Collingwood ("17 runs and no wickets for an OBE" in reference to his contribution in the 2005 Ashes series) and other England players in his last batting innings; so many others. He was a test player for half my life by the time he retired. Incredible, mercurial, biggest of big-game and big-moment players. An absolute privilege to have seen play live, on TV, and he was even riveting listening to scratchy 774 broadcasts of our overseas games. Never felt like a wicket was far away when he had the ball. RIP.
  11. [censored] I'm going to put the replay on again!

I'd be happy if no opposition players did so!
  13. Makes me puke seeing the Carlton and Essendon membership numbers where they are given how crap they've been for years.
  14. Ridiculous how large the bloody Zurich logo is. Seems to dwarf the AFL logo on the other side and eats up a frustrating amount of the red yoke.
  15. Ugh our defence is looking ordinary
  16. It's understandable, being the year 1022 and all... oh wait 🤔
  17. Great work, thank you! Wonderful reading about many players from before my Dee-watching time (late 80s onward). To anyone else that missed seeing Robbie Flower play, please search for his extended highlights on YouTube. Breathtaking skill, and sidesteps, baulks and evasions that defy belief.
  18. This is actually quite useful as I happen to be calibrating an old CRT TV at the moment...
  19. Surely not enough hours in the day to fit our 2021 wins in?!?!

They might be breaking for one of the food courses

  22. I was recently watching full replays with the different commentaries, and was struck in the 3rd quarter that with about 1 min 20 sec on the clock the ball was in the back half. I'd momentarily slipped into regular Aussie Rules watching mode and thought ah ok nearly 3qtr time not much left to happen - hang on! We've still got 3 goals to squeeze in here!?!?! No wonder the Bulldogs mids looked so shellshocked after Clarry's goal.
  23. I remember being super anxious at 3qtr time of the GF, terrified that an early Dogs goal in the last would precipitate another momentum shift. So for me it was only after Brown's goal in the last that my nerves started to settle, and probably 2 goals more before I truly started relaxing.
