This is all about being hunted. Pies got a lot of close wins last year where teams didn’t always come with their A game. the fact we went 10-0 after the flag shows you how good we were.

Nothing, it is just statistically unlikely. Sure you get an outlier event from time to time (Doggies in 2016). But it’s hard to win 17/20 games. What also doesn’t stack up is the way they play and win. It is hard to back it up and sustain.

His demeanour in the Sydney presser was very eye catching. He looked panicky and desperate. If they go 0-3 then statistically they won’t win it. top 4 becomes almost out of reach and finals is even 50/50. Just look at the cats from last year. Saints match up very well and I think are in with a real shot to cause a major upset. They move the ball very well and are one of the harder sides to score against.

Yeah they got a pretty decent ruckman as well, who is probably ahead of him that he'd have to compete with. I think he has a clearer run at it with MFC - plus the opp to learn from arguably the best ruckman of all time. I know what i'd chose, but some may say I'm a little biased.

What I hear is there will be great compensation for RFA as signing bonuses will be factored into the equation. So someone like Rivers going, which might get us a round 2 pick suddenly nets a round 1 compensation pick. Kozzy might go from back end round 1 to top 5 etc or may net multiple compensation picks. The picks offered to Tassie will be similar to GWS but they can only trade them this time around.
