I would hope so but not holding my breath. Ashcroft dominated junior footy which you cannot say the same about Windsor. First year breakout players are incredibly rare and having that type of expectation is bound to result in disappointment.

Yep I definitely saw the positive side last week. He was touted as an outside player and yet his attack on the ball was just as good as any other player. He had the added bonus of being silky smooth, quick and accurate. If there is any knock on him I couldn’t see it.

Why JUH? He has done nothing and can’t kick straight. I get he is still young but it’s a huge gamble to throw our treasure chest at him. Much better to go after Ben King if he becomes available, which is unlikely. I like the English play and he can play as a key forward. Can’t see Gawn playing after 2025 even if all goes right for him.

I remember thinking we had it sorted last year as well after watching our ball movement in the early games. I also rewatched the GF ‘21 replay recently and noticed that we were much more direct then than we are now.

Fullerton 6-8 no surgery. Good outcome based on what was initially reported. May not miss to much footy during the season.

There is something about Jack that i just admire. From what i witnessed at training last week to what i have always seen on camera. Nothing against Max, but i don't know how JV is not the captain of our club.

It happened at the end of a 3 hour session. That to me suggests it was fatigue based. I’m no expert so could be totally wrong.

Re:Fullerton injury, the training session today went for over 3 hours. Fullerton appeared to damage it right at the end of it which is shocking luck. Whether it happened abruptly or not we don’t know, but to me that was a bit of mismanagement of his running loads.

Disappointed at the clubs lack of fan engagement. 5 mins of high fives after fans waiting 3 hours. Not impressed.

Petty seems to have a slight limp in his gait. Right foot appears hampered. Still running with McAdam and Gus. but is now taking part in a modified pre set match sim scenario. Took a mark on the lead and foaled.

The white team has done what no team has done before. Scored 10 goals in the blink of an eye. Literally. Blue team coming back through with Lingers on the end of a JVR short pass who snaps from the boundary. Down by 3 points.

Gawn contested mark after Caleb “Leb” lose ball get, hand balls to Viney with a short kick mark to Gawn who finds JvR in the forward pocket. Set shot goal from 30m on a tight angle.

Tmac should never take kick outs. Merchant of the turnover variety.

Centre clearance goal to start q3. Gawn to Viney to AnB to Trac to Kozzy all through quick and precise handballs. Kozzy snaps from 30m indirectly in front straight through the big ones

Great passage of play with plenty of hard tackles. Bowey crunched my Kozzy, Chin by Tommo. It may not be finals intensity but players are not holding back.
