WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DECLAN KEILTY
It looks like McEnvoy? came from the side a bit mindful that Kielty was running straight at him. Great work for a first gamer.

Would you not recognise a Rolls Royce if you owned one. Hogan is a star.

Our Heart Beats True
Never seen anything before or since to match the crowd support as the Dees of 87 did their warm up lap, nice and slow to soak it all in in the first final in 23 years. Not even sure a flag will match that for me. If we ever do win a flag I will go to the very spot I was as a seven year old when we won in 64 and try and do my best drop kick in what was a paddock and now is a patch of bitumen.

Jon Patton
Fair enough but personally not convinced Scully adds much punch to the Hawks. Neat for sure but doesnt cut you up.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
I just do not understand it. Literally pick any senior footy club in Metro Melbourne and at least they have a home ground with a club house, parking area and other facilities. There must be clubs somewhere where we could piggyback on their infastructure.

CASEY DEMONS V RICHMOND VFL
Under 16 footballer. I think I saw his first game at Marvel or at least one of his first. I cannot really see any improvement or maturity in his game.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
Yes, we will never be a Club until we have . a proper home base. I take my hat off to all those who go to Goschs paddock but ii is an embarrassment. Shame on every previous administration and this one. It is not the only reason, but the Saints are thriving back at Moorabbin.

Sack everyone (mega-thread)
I said pursues, meaning once it is established that the neither the local community, local government or state government support the proposal.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Sadly the Lever trade is speculative now. We could have a ten year player and future Captain or an average half back with injury concerns. Time will tell as it will with May.

Trade Petracca?
Second to third round pick.

The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
Keep Gawn, Oliver, Brayshaw, Salem, Lever, May Meksham, Jetta, T Mac, Wiedemann,. Harmes, Viney I am in a surprisingly positive mood but mindful of our history in losing player trades.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
I thought Smith showed a bit last night. The dropped mark in the goals after some great body work showed he can play at this level with a bit more polish to be added. Should string games together.

Sam Weideman + contract
For me he is a big striding lead up, to the flanks and wings forward. Get him fit fit fit, Get Richo down to show him how to lead. Model game of Nick Riewolt and Richo. Dermie also would of been perfect to teach leading patterns.

My 3 word player analysis v Richmond
Love the idea of Hunt in principle but he is not a natural footballer.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
A good organisation would at least have a respectful conversation with Jones in particular and Lewis. Obviously they will say they want to see the year through and help out with experience. Perhaps that is best but a conversation should be had.

2020 starts now ?
Yes, fair enough but. Melbourne ok kicking last night or Hawthorn standard kicking last night?

Goody Presser, nearest the pin
People far more experienced than me could add a lot more but it is easy to see Goodwin is very uncomfortable in press conferences. He constantly touches parts of his body, legs, he folds his arms and gives an unnerving little smile to the most difficult questions. Rarely gives an original or unscripted answer. Does he have any life experience outside of football?

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
When under pressure people go to their favorites.

2020 starts now ?
When Lewis came he was able to do the Hawthorn chip kick. Sadly he has neither time nor space to execute it now.
