No for me.... $800k per year, thinks he's a star & plays bruise free footy. Looks for the easy kick every time & Goodwin, I presume, wouldn't what his style of game at the Dees. Very athletic & mobile but someone needs to grab him & change the way he plays & he could be effective......backline may suit him. Grossly overated.

Ha ha yeah maybe D3 but unfortunately the options that were used in their place didn't do much to excite this year either.

With all the delistings, retirements & coaches leaving, I must say I am pleased that you may be moving on. Undervalued & strangled by a club & coach....IMO. Good luck also to JKH.....hope you also find a new home if delisted. Both blokes up against it when coaches preference was 22 bulls.

Amazing acceptance speech by Fyfe......Very impressive human & sounds like an even more impressive captain. Didn't throw anyone under the bus & acknowledged a couple of players who assisted in him playing his natural game. If I was in charge at the MFC, I would be dropping everything to acquire Fyfe of someone with similar traits & beliefs to change our culture & lead our boys. It all starts at the top.

We all know that Jack hasn't won any B & F's or hasn't been included in any All Australians etc so his personal accomplishments resume would be blank, however, he has achieved a lot more thank probably all that choose to make any comment about his talent & ability etc. 174 AFL games..... not bad for an ordinary footballer. He was good for the MFC most of the time & on occassions, elite..... especially with his disposal & he could run all day. Still cant believe that in a team that has been searching for elite disposal for years that Goodwin just gets rid of Jack. Again only my opinion. Sorry to go on gents but I do enjoy the discussion.

You obviously know nothing about what it takes to be a good footballer. I would suggest that you have never played the game..... but, you are entitled to your opinion, just as I am. To suggest that Jack Watts is an ordinary footballer is evidence of my comment above & the only only person embarrassing themselves, unfortunately, is you.

ha ha JW has gone to a club that actually cares about him.....JW has gone to a club that has won 6 more games than us this year...... JW has gone to a club that isn't a basket case & he's gone to a club that isn't the laughing stock of the AFL. Sure he has made some lifelong friends at the MFC & friends he would still associate with, but really......you reckon he misses us.....Pft Stop pretending like we are some sort of destination club.

Easy to come to this conclusion because in my opinion, Frosty is the exactly the player we need & holding off with his contract is a mistake. He will go to another club, no question! Wouldn't you? May & Lever on $800k each & not considered in our best 1 or 2 backman this year. Dumb.

Jack Watts would be laughing at the MFC & thanking his lucky stars that he left. Could never understand why we got rid of him especially when the year before he won 2 games off his own boot & is considered one of the best kicks in the game......something that our current list of players cant do.... Staggering.....

Its about common sense for me.....something the MFC clearly lacks. Before going & spending big money on other players & money we clearly don't have, lock down a player that we obviously need. Might be too late for us to sign Frosty & TBH I don't blame him for going..... Shows a total lack of care & common sense considering out lack of outside run & ball carriers. Tomlinson would be the second slowest player on our list if he came. Wake up.

I agree....mate But you need to come up with something better than that.....Frost has an average of 2.7 turnovers per game & the following players have a higher average for the 2019 season...... Hibberd 5, Brayshaw 5, Oliver 4.7, Lever 4.1, Salem, Jones & Viney 4 Scarey I know but my question still stands......who replaces Frosty with his obvious pace & lock down ability? He provides spark, excitement & quick ball movement, something that all of the above players struggle with.

Frost is a player we need. We don't have line breaking players like Frosty with great closing speed. If Frosty goes, then I would like to know where our pace in the back half is going to come from. We are all dreaming if you think Elliott is going to come to the Dees.....its laughable actually! Why would he? Even if if did come to the dees, we don't have the game plan, skill & intelligence to utilise his ability. (& we cant afford him) Elliott would be a good inclusion but we need Frosty.

Agree totally here.....Has never taken responsibility for what has transpired this season. I might have said this: "Utimately, at the end of that, we had a coach that wasn’t prepared for what the game was going to demand.” He clearly needs help & guidance & with Misson, McCartney, Jennings, Rawlings & Viney now gone, not sure who is going to provide that. Not sure A Richardson is the answer either...... I stand to be corrected though in time.
