Langdon will fit in beautifully BR.....has a higher turnover average than Jones, Viney & Brayshaw Tomlinson not the answer IMO & not an impact player....slow, very slow. he wont play wing so where does he play? Elliott? I am wondering why he would come to the Dees? Can only be money & security. Hope he does! Joel Smith....agree he is what we need & has X factor & can play forward & back Viney agree BR.....forgetable year unless you rate the MFC B & F Anderson we wont get but Serong a possiblity & can play......good call! Agree.....the most skillful players on any team are generally in the backline.....for example Howe, Saad, Stewart, Haynes, L. Jetta, Hurn & Henderson. With the lack of skill in the midfield this year maybe Salem to the mid might help?

Probably one of Christian's best years. averaging 24 disposals this season with 73% efficiency. Undervalued in my opinion & this was clearly evident with his seventh position finish in the B & F. McCartney's influence obvious here as he prefers the bulls ahead of the skillful runners. Should be used more as a mid as his skill set is better than most.

I'm with you & good on Frosty, however, in my opinion his ability is undervalued & more importantly needed, especially after our disastrous year. Yes, disrespectful to answer your question.....totally. You don't sacrifice a player that is critical to the 6,6,6, set up. Just stupid.

Thanks for your service Frosty......A great move & what a great club you are going too. More importantly, going to a club with a great coach. Sure Frosty isn't our best backman, (maybe he was this season) but his run & carry we need in spades especially with the new 6 6 6 rules......& to show total disrespect to Sam & what the Dees desperately need is just so typical of Melbourne. Sam frost may not be our future but if 2019 wasn't an indication that he is an important part of our make up, then I give up....maybe Goodwin is going to pull a rabbit out of the hat? Tomlinson & Langdon not our future either.

Viney had a horrible season. This is a clear statement of how crap we are as a footy club....Then I look at Richmond on the weekend. We are miles & potentially years away from being anything like that tight knit group. The love & care they have for each other is amazing & their culture is one we could only wish for.

sorry but I didn't see it......The only thing I saw was a coach who kept on playing unfit & injured players which was ultimately the clubs downfall.....I also saw a coach that didn't have the balls to drop the players that needed to be dropped & promote some enthusiasm & run with youth. I will stand corrected Pitmaster but lets check in at round 10 next season.

Our midfield does need gut-running & two-way running mids but the way the 6,6,6 is structured now, you also need speed & composure with ball in hand. We don't have speed & we don't have composure with ball in hand & we were one of the highest turnover teams this yeah when under the pump. (partly Goodwin's fault too as he unfortunately didn't have a plan B) We have too many role players ATM & we need impact players & pace. As you said he may help our list to some degree, however, impact player no.....role player yes, but slow & not the answer IMO. I stand to be corrected though& time will tell I guess.

Pace & a game plan to utilise pace is what has been 'killing us' & stated by our esteemed coach on a number of occassions. Please tell me where Tomlinson can improve our list? Langdon I understand, but I'm not sure the Dees need anymore overpaid turtles. The Tomlinson suggestion astounds me & I would go with Frosty everytime.

Great call Jumbo. If Frosty ends up going, it only highlights the importance of an injection of speed within our ranks & unfortunately Tomlinson offers zero in this department. Not an impact player in any sense..... please no.

Took the words right out of my mouth DeeSpencer. He's done. I wouldn't be surprised if no other club shows any interest. 1 tackle per game & 1 contested mark per game..... Give me a break. The Melb recruiters are a bit smarter than that......(I hope)

Jordan Lewis: average 16 disposals, 74% efficiency, 2.5 turnovers, 4.2 contested poss & 1 tackle Billy Stretch: average 17 disposals, 77% efficiency, 2.2 turnovers, 5.3 contested poss & 3 tackles I know who I would prefer.

that's a big call Jumbo.....hard to predict that in my opinion at this early stage but I hope he's half as good as his brother. I'm more excited about Lockhart. Has showed a little bit of X factor & some goal sense. Hopefully they all improve & have an impact in 2020. Time will tell.....

This was always going to be just banter......Why would he come to the Dees for a start? I mean with Lever, May, Oscar & Frosty he was never going to get in. Hard to believe after 18 games for the cows this season that they would let him go? That's bizzare.....

I heard the ultimatum too......not good & involved his manager too. Disposal efficiency at 69%, 4.5 average turnovers per game & 49% scoring efficiency....... Needs to be better if he wants to be remembered as a 'Hall of Famer' (his words not mine) but good to see some consistency in 2019.
