And don’t recall you complain about the wind at Casey in 2021 after we won the flag, other negatives about horses especially PK are ignorance not based in any facts or knowledge of the design of the facility, and the last mountain made from a molehill is querying the club on its need for 4 teams to have access to these facilities. The underrated nature of which some D/lers treat our AFLW and even VFL teams is a disgrace. How long have you seen Maysie crash forward packs in the AFL for Melbourne?? 5, 10 or 15 minutes total in his 100 games certainly not on the last 50/60 for sure. If we need such a n upsetting the defence move to gains in the forward line at the start of a game then that sends a real upshot of absolute panic in our team against a bottom team. You only need to see how we still are vulnerable when one of our 4 or 5 AA mids or defenders gets injured during a game to abandon such a knife in the foot such as this suggestion. Switch around our forwards and mids because it’s fast area if the ground thst causes us more grief than any mother. Only if it’s later in the game maybe May and Petty could swap if as a last resort is needed. But it’s most likely not our defence in strife but our forwards. And our history over 4/5 years shows we win these sorts of games with a team effort.

It’s the squeaky door syndrome pretty easy to work out. We complain or discuss loudly they will respond to keep their control of the matter.

You are correct that Jefferson will develop quicker and better without too many other talls competing with him at Casey. Last week was promising and hopefully he can again produce that form and goals. Itsxa learning curve for some and very important for McAdams he played a full game this week to justify his performance for consideration for Seniors.

Stafford shouldv have bee delisted after last year even though injuries were a mitigating circumstance. Thought Mini might have turned it around although our entry and some aspects are a lot better than last season. Individual training on forward skills is necessary to get that aspect up to scratch. It’s also the consistency aspect of being ON and able to kick straight.

Really some of these kids are in their first years and we all know of Judd etc. Let’s cool down and see how some come out of the harder footy now required in the Casey Dees. Are we doing the right thing in trying to develop Kolt and Sestan as mids because we are desperate or are we better letting them make it as HFFlankers then offering mid field opportunities. Similarly AMW surely is a better chance of succeeding as a HF than a HB. Snd are we missing a trick in lMO in not getting as much game time on the ball ( despite his physique ) for Pup Kynan who looks natural junk hungry dog who is a total ball winner in the trenches plus has pace and kicks a goal. He is a sleeper IMO and needs to be given time accordingly to fast track his development.

That’s the problem As I understand that he did not go with Burgess advice and took matters into his own hands. This resulted in him only playing about 8/10 games as he “managed” his own fitness or had other advisors. I believe his base would be very low and that’s why he had the need of a third of the season to help establish his “Melbourne “ base. If we were to name our GF team 5 months early I would be leaving out Shane as the most likely to miss because of injury. Seems a nice bloke ( according to WCW ) but who would you back in Kolt or Shane for HFF in the Granny? Something is not quite right in the state of Denmark ( Shane Mac) although I desperately want him to get a good string of matches and perform for the team as he has ability to be a huge X factor I believe.

Why Billings on the ball and Kynan on the wing. If either sectioning the AFL they would ideally be in the positions I have suggested. Outfield work has been interesting even underwhelming at times and Kynan looks as good a mid under the three champs plus Sparrow and the cameo kids Kossie Riv and also Salem when fit. I bet when he gets his chance he won’t give it up without an almighty fight. But that’s the trick how does he get his chance?
