  1. You shouldn’t be mentioning Fritta in any sentence in the same vein as Shane Mac. Fans are continually on Fritta’s back because they expect him to play contrary to his assets. Fritta is not ANB he has other football skills. Let him play those and continue to kick 40 plus goals each year. Yes his intensity is sometimes questionable but I don’t think he means it. It’s just him. He’s our best forward and he can improve by virtue of others around him also playing at a higher standard. He will I believe this year .
  2. That may not be possible to add “explosiveness” to his virtues. His strength will still be a huge asset and size also. If he was that slow it would already be an issue possibly so his all round game is in very good order. At 18 very few recruits can have no issues so all are trained on these and generally to improve at all times not just when they arrive at the Club. Should be a super player ready to AFL by next years Round 1 probably.
  3. Yes we all can’t wait here’s hoping Tommy can finally deliver on potential.
  4. Hasn’t worried Caleb Daniel Size is not the main requirement for AFL if you have other boxes ticked. Teams need all different types of players remember mostly someone has to mind a small player and be skilled enough to counter cleverness.
  5. All I can say is there will need to be an apology book available for many D/Landers and Demon fans to sign after Jeffo is selected and played for a year or two. Great to see his physical development along with his mental resolve plus ability over the journey. His career may well be the perfect way for a recruit to approach AFL adaptation. Lets hope he can fulfil his promise in spades.
  6. The Vlub wants Tauru if Langford not available it appears from Cal. That may be your answer.
  7. I think we should take one each of the mids and forwards package and both sections will be set for this year and partially 3/4 years. Trading and drafting next year can add good quality extras hopefully to our spine and engine room.
  8. Despite what you are saying we have lost more games in our 2021 to 2024 seasons because of our forward line not our mids. That being said connectivity is also a contributing problem.
  9. Here here PF. Game changer Xfactor versatile all in one.
  10. Windsor will be elite and a couple of others will be almost A graders. Two more years before all our youngsters reach their peak.
  11. Would swap Bowey to B + for Sparrow in B.
  12. But he has us finishing 8th so probably more generous than others overall.
  13. Just shows how confusing the nga and f/s picks make the draft. Thanks for posting your take !!
  14. Thankfully they can only pick ONE at 4. !!
  15. You missed a Daints second pick. We should be 10 if we are 6 !!
  16. I secretly hope it ends that way although I would love Langford in addition to Tauru. Guess we can only hope!!
  17. Your views are not in sync with most AFL experts inc. Cal Twomey. Perhaps you are of the same school as Goody? We are in need of class finishing skilful ball players and have really enough inside bulls although Langford being a taller marking and goal kicking mid has those strings to his now rather like taller Trac and let’s face it a Bont Cripps clone. Who could refuse that in team aspiring to win a flag asap.? Jan
  18. Can he get the ball often enough?
  19. Why worry he wound be in our best 23 and that is all that matters really and would be super versatile. That’s the upside.
