  1. Has Narrm won a game yet?

You couldn't really see Brisbane making top four now with three and a half wins out of nine games. It's probably down to seven sides now as Essendon won't be there either.

So far Essendon have beaten the teams sitting 11, 12, 14, 15 & 16 on the ladder and drawn with 9. Three of their wins by a combined 13 points. Their next three are against teams sitting 18, 17 & 10. Even a loss today could still see them with 8.5 wins out of 12 games.

    Saints finding their natural level.
  5. Avoid any media coverage. Period.
  6. I really miss having Gus in our midfield rotation. A midfield of Gawn, Viney, Petracca, Oliver, Brayshaw, Langdon and Windsor would be the footballing equivalent of facing Marshall, Holding, Croft, Garner, Ambrose, Walsh & Roberts.
  7. I'm taking solace in the fact that Carlton's very best can beat us by a kick whilst our very best would see us tear them a new a-hole.
  8. I'm also a bachelor roy but unlike you have no cat for company. If last night were a Friday I'd be getting out on the bike early doors and punching out 40-50km or going for a swim. The combination of coffee, physical exhaustion and endorphin release are my best friends after a crushing loss. Only then might I venture onto DL to make sense of what happened which I also find cathartic.
  9. Geez that was frustrating to watch. Diabolical for periods but whilst the margin was six goals still thought we were a chance if they tired. Then when the momentum swung our way we went back to our one wood of missing easy goals before having enough possession to win two games of football in the last quarter. Only Melbourne.
  10. My guess is that they've finally decided to grow up and go with a more traditional style guernsey just like the Bears, Port and Dockers eventually did. They'll at least look like a football team.
  11. Blue & white vertical stripes with a kangaroo logo?
  12. Just give them all an NFT.

Just waiting for the re-signing interview to drop now where Petts says he never seriously considered leaving.
  14. In toilet roll lettering.
  15. Ever since I can remember Geelong's run throughs have looked like kindergarten kids projects.
  16. Who cares about the media. Demonland provides the only affirmation I need of how good we really are.
  17. In my first full year over here I used to listen to our games on a big old radiogram the folks had picked up from an op shop (along with the rest of our furniture) but being rubbish at the time we were almost always on the two racing channels, 3UZ and 3DB where the gee gee's always got priority.

I'm not sure if GC have ever won at the Gabba. Or even come close to winning.
  19. Hi binny. I know but that's just who he is. He's always been that way. That's how he's wired. He's rarely gracious about anything. I listened to Goody's presser straight after and in stark contrast he spent as much time talking about how good the Cats are as he did about us but that's who Goody is. Watching them back to back though certainly does highlight their differences and I know who I'd rather have representing my club.
  20. Just watched Chris Scott's presser on the back of all the comments and didn't think it was so bad. He's always been begrudging of praise to the opposition and I thought he made a good job of engaging with the journos instead of treating them like the numpties most of them are.

Looks like a lot of the Tiger Army have been captured by the enemy or are MIA.
  22. Just looked him up on insta. He has an impressive CV for such a young lad. Blackburn Rovers supporter too.
  23. Is the Lancastrian lad commentating the same person that did a lot of our AFL post game interviews last year?
  24. Yeah. We had randoms sitting in front and behind us all night in N53. Dees and Cats supporters. They would sit for a quarter and then be replaced by other randoms.
  25. Bowser back to play the Blues. Good times.
