As nice as it would be to see WC go through a season 0-23 it would be equally as good to face a completely demoralised Richmond a week on Wednesday.

Suns must finally be getting some traction up there as Carrara is only three quarters empty tonight.

    LOL. Up your @rse Carlton.
  4. They are mostly Fitzroy supporters at the games down here. They chant Lions, not Brisbane. Reminding them their team died in 1996 shuts the mouthy ones up pretty quickly I find.
  5. Worst we’ve played in four years. Did they all have Covid? Made Brisbane look like the Harlem Globetrotters.

They will be fighting it out with Richmond and Footscray to finish 9th I think.

As long as we're a top four side we'll stay on broadway (AO) and away from these postage stamp sized venues. Ben Brown would have to master a short run in a la Malcolm Marshall.

Aside from the fact that the two Adelaide sides get an extra home game and therefore an unfair advantage I think it's logistically the best place to hold it each year. It's easy to get to from Victoria both by road and air and a relatively short flight from WA. As for the few GC and GWS supporters that would make the trip their presence is negligible anyway so Andrew Demetriou's plastic implants can play each other every year in Coober Pedy. The only issue on the horizon is when Tasmania enter the competition one team won't have anyone to play that week.

Well that was vomit inducing. At least we're still top I guess.

I'd actually like the Dockers to reintroduce some green as part of any clash guernsey. Today's abomination reminds me of the Carlton navy guernsey with a navy CFC they wore relatively recently.

I haven't done the maths but I'm guessing that a high scoring close game would see us stay top on %, at least until tonight.

How bad does that black & purple guernsey look.

This game in the Adelaide Hills brings back memories of Carrara with it's portable seating in the era of the Bears.

A hard nosed vet would euthanise them.

It was about as close as the one Marchbank claimed to have touched against us last year.

I know. It's hard to believe we were once that bad.

I just had a quick look online and it looks like shallow or straight wings are the norm at SANFL grounds. Even the old Adelaide Oval had pretty much the same dimensions as this one tonight.

Hi RtG. I meant at North.

Just like the start and the middle.

Bewildering umpire non-decision just cost North a goal.

I wonder if the people against our proposed move to Caulfield are the same ones that just stopped a bike path connection being built adjacent to the racetrack and are now fighting with each other because it's been diverted down a residential street instead.
  22. Has just had his contract extended until the end of 2026.
  23. He'll have Lachie Hunter breathing down his neck now that he is available again.
  24. Poor old Matthew Nicks sounded bereft in his presser and they're only four games into their season.
