Hi Tracca. I've seen every reason / excuse under the sun being used as justification for our crowds not being more reflective of our membership tally. From 7:20pm on a Thursday night until 3:20pm on a Sunday, whether it's too hot, cold or wet to the wrong mode of transport (usually bus) to a lack of technological prowess. Whether it's too early due to kids sports or too late for school the next day. My bingo card is full.

Hi Woey. I hear what you're saying and I'm perfectly comfortable with our reality. Of the 40k that turned up to the SCG last week around 5% might have been Dees. They were going to get 40k against almost anyone in a week where there were no NRL games, so wasn't really a reflection of our drawing power, in my opinion. We're a boutique sized club with an upwardly mobile supporter base that has numerous options to choose from on any given weekend. When we do choose to visit the G were more polite than raucous. All this is fine. We are who we are. I'd rather be happy in our own skins than waste energy trying to be something we're not.

It was pretty convivial aboard my Watergardens train post game. They know we own them. We know we own them. What's to argue about? -
First and foremost. It is OUR HOME GROUND. That's why we play there. I also thought the attendance was poor. Let's say there were 10,000 Doggies supporters there. That means around 40% of our supposed 75,000 membership turned up to watch our opening home game. Both sides have also won flags in the last eight years and are mooted as top four contenders. Could you imagine only 40% of season ticket holders turning up at Anfield / Old Trafford / Ibrox / Celtic Park for any game?

Agree. I sit in N53 on that level and although it's nice to have a big screen to look at whilst you're in line for a drink the lack of a carpet give it the acoustics and feel of a large cafeteria. The new media area has blocked a great view of the ground when the weather is bad.

I'll drink to that.

I didn’t see that GtG. Will have to check out the replay.

Barely noticed Harmesy for the oppo.

Damn. Thought the hillbillies were going to cough that one up.

GSW back to their 5,000 rent-a-crowd after the visit of the Pies last week.

Putrid disposal is going to cost Richmond this game.

As if I need any more reasons to hate Carlton they just mentioned in the broadcast that the fat guy from Take That supports them.

I'd put them all in one area behind a big net and make them wait until an hour after the game has finished before letting them out of the ground, just as they do in a lot of european football grounds. Either that or have them all muzzled. Or preferably both. They are the creme de la scum of the competition. The year prior I was again on an aisle next to two bays of Sydney members but I spent the half time break chatting with them across the aisle about their local team Pennant Hills and how they have the same guernsey and team song as the Dees, which I wasn't aware of.
-
I sat on an aisle next to two bays of them at our final last year and I couldn’t be happier that we’re nothing like them.

Clarry out of favour? I know that they’re a little behind the times down that way but it sounds to me like a copy of the Herald Sun from last December has finally blown into town and landed on the windscreen of their recruiting manager’s car.

Tigers fans won't even need to microwave their season ticket. They can just leave it outside for an hour this weekend.

What's with the narrative that all this round's games are sold out? Carrara is half empty. Don't they realise we all have eyes?

Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement

If this were another era I’d be making sure the run through on KB had a large caricature of Gus with the words Never Forgive Never Forget writ large alongside it. Hand drawn and painted of course, not a big photocopied picture. -
Because he’s be down the pecking order?

Love they guy but there's a lot of ifs, buts and maybes in that article. Will be crossing my fingers for him as we'll be flying as a team if we can keep him on the park this year. -

Gutted. If there wasn't already a special place in hell reserved for that charmless grub Maynard surely there is now. -
It’s only fair that Freo should be made to give us his brother.

An annual Devils v Demons blockbuster over Dark Mofo weekend sounds pretty good to me.
