  1. You're right DD. I clearly didn't think this through.
  2. I'm keen to burn down Casey Fields if your interested? Nothing to do with James Hird but if we get caught he can be our excuse.
  3. I hope itโ€™s true about the North game. Arden St is a cracking ground to watch a game at. Itโ€™s also on my side of town.
  4. No hot dogs on sale at the Holden Centre today?
  5. Hi DJ. Is it possible that Bailey Smith leaving was more about the Dogs having a no d-head policy rather than a bad culture?
  6. How could they afford him? They're the Fremantle Dockers ffs not Real Madrid.
  7. I'm not sure I'd want Freo's picks in draft years that are compromised by the entry of Tasmania into the competition.
  8. or go all out suck on "the peter dutton elite sports centre" malfoy manor
  9. His daughter is married to Phil Spencer, who co-hosts a long running property show in the UK with Kirstie Allsopp called Location, Location, Location. I remember he did a short-lived Australian version of the show and on a Melbourne episode attended a Dees training session.
  10. I reckon the retro look works considering the location. It's also not his first rodeo which I think allows for a bit of leeway in the dress stakes. Well done coach!
  11. Or what Collingwood supporters do out of the corner of their mouths.
  12. I'm sure it's not the first time someone on here has confused parody with reality nor drivel with dribble.
  13. Give the man a Walkley award. Fabricated muckraking journalism of the highest order!
  14. Lots of players are still training over the Xmas break. I run or cycle most days and usually stop at Whitten Oval to do some stretches and I've twice seen Harmesy there with some other Dogs players doing short sprints and timed laps. Yesterday it was Tim English and Rhylee West doing the same. It's a lovely ground these days by the way and the playing surface is immaculate.
  15. If we have a good run with injuries I'm confident we'll finish top 4 and have another tilt at a flag. I couldn't care less where anyone else finishes although Pies and Blues missing finals would be nice I guess.
  16. I think I read a little while back that the person he's about to get married to is settled in Sydney with her own young family and would be staying there. That may have changed of course but doesn't his contract run out at the end of the 2025 season? If so there's been no talk of an extension yet.
  17. Same here Roost. To me it's a way of telling us he'll be a Dee without actually saying it. Didn't his old man comment (with a wink) about how good he looked in our guernsey on one of the club's insta posts a little while back too? No mention ever about how good he looked in Gold Coast's monstrous colours that I'm aware of.
  18. Not so much a Spurs thing but one dynamic that is very different between football and Australian Rules, particularly in the English Premier League and the Championship is promotion and relegation as well as European football qualification for the elite clubs. The financial implications of which can make a massive difference to a manager's tenure. In AFL a club gets rewarded with the best young player in the country for finishing bottom. As an aside we really should have put Spurs away the other night at Ibrox. Ange can trot out all the all the injury soundbites he likes but his club has a transfer budget 100 times bigger than ours thanks to tv money and leveraged debt.
  19. By all accounts it was a small private occasion for immediate family and friends. Much like our home games.
  20. Perhaps the second oval will have Kardinia Park's dimensions and that's also why we could easily fit both inside the racetrack.
  21. As bad as the Q&A was I'll definitely tune in next year just to see if the questions asked are even more mental that this years.
  22. Quality not quantity LH. ๐Ÿ˜†
  23. I found the suggestion about building a retirement village for our supporters out at Caulfield convinced me......to vote for mandatory euthanasia at the age of 70 if it ever gets to parliament.
  24. I might go next year and ask if we're against genetically modified crops and suggest we open a cat cafe at Casey Fields.
