  1. Up your ärse Hawthorn.
  2. And I thought his statement about being committed to the red & blue was hard to swallow...
  3. My mum once introduced the perplexed Brazilian that owned the milk bar / chippy round the corner from our old house the art of deep frying a meat pie and watering down the tomato sauce with vinegar. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it people.
  4. Big salary dump on the cards in 3 years if it all goes Pete Tong.
  5. Had his chance to join us after we won the flag. That ship has now sailed.
  6. When I said we I meant Scotland. I appear to be the resident ‘sweaty’ on here.
  7. Did you honestly think we were going to put our hands in our pocket and stump up for them, DVI?
  8. I thought this guy was the Missing Link?
  9. GWS v Brisbane next week at Spotless (or whatever it's called). Looks like the AFL will need to put in a call to Rent-A-Crowd.
  10. Don't fancy Vossy's chances of arresting this deficit.
  11. As regards to the Trac photo there's something there for everybody. If you love him then it's a positive sign that he's reengaging publicly with the club and if you can't stand him you can enjoy watching him smile through gritted teeth every time the media department stick an iphone in his face.
  12. Then Canberra relocated to Papua New Guinea.
  13. Just turned on the footy. In a game that should nominally have a 50/50 crowd split there couldn't be more than 4,000 GWS supporters there. In their home city. Fitzroy had a bigger following when they folded.
  14. I heard the same. Brad's role likely to be an interim position with Smudge taking over in the near future.
  15. Houston to the Saints? He must want to get back to Victoria REALLY badly.
  16. Perhaps the fact these issues are now out in the open and not festering away under the surface is actually a good thing. There's an opportunity for everyone to refocus and recommit to a common set of standards and goals much in the way we started 2021. Doesn't mean it'll happen of course.
  17. I’d like our trip to Hobart back please. Always a good weekend, especially with North still being rubbish.
  18. If that's me in N53 it must be a final as there's actually Melbourne supporters in some of the other seats.
  19. So you were the person sitting in N52 during the Giants game? It's a small world Moonie.
  20. I sit in N53 and get annoyed at all the opposition supporters that fill our area as well but if our own supporters bothered to turn up there’s be no empty seats for them to sit in.
  21. Just back from the cafe near work and Jordan Lewis and Anthony Hudson were in there at a table. Tried to eves-drop in case they might have been discussing the goings on at the Dees but too much surrounding noise.
  22. Assuming those are home attendances only they still aren't an accurate depiction, in my view. For example, there is no way that GWS and GC are getting any more than 5,000 of their own fans through the gates at their home games. Those numbers are being heavily padded by visiting supporters of the big Victorian clubs. Hawthorn's would likely be higher if they weren't playing four games at UTAS (capacity 19,000) and ours if we weren't playing one game at Traeger Park (capacity 7,000). I also think that in our games against the bigger Victorian sides the crowd is closer to 50/50, thus inflating our numbers a bit. Personally, I couldn't care less if the perception is that we're not a big club. For anyone that does though we can't honestly expect to change the narrative when we're drawing 17,000 to our home games.
