I would love if we got the same scrutiny by the media & the general public as a team like Collingwood sometimes. The team plays poor, the coaching staff make weird selections & nothing gets said about it outside of the Melbourne fan base. if Collingwood had this roster & were playing as poorly as us the media would be howling down on us & calling for the sacking of Goodwin. We really need this kind of treatment for the club to get anywhere.

based on last season & the first 3 games this season where exactly is that improvement coming from ? It’s not going to just magically appear.

The sad thing is with the talent we have & the average age of the group we should have players not only in their prime but a team fighting for a top 4 spot. At least with Adelaide you know their starting their rebuilding phase. This club has no direction & no identity. Maybe it’s time to give Roosy a call & asks if he wants his old job back.

Hayden Young looking pretty damn good in his first game. I have faith Jackson’s going to be a star but I hope this doesn’t come back to bite us.

I think we underestimated how good Carlton is. If they didn’t have such horrible starts against us & Richmond they’re probably sitting on top of the ladder without a loss by the end of the night.

That nervous look that Goodwin was showing on the bench late in the game is uninspiring. Theirs absolutely no confidence, he looks like he’s just coaching to save his job.

Goodwin again showing his inability to go to a plan B once the opposition team counters. We play like that again & we’ll be bottom 4.

Really excited to see how Jackson goes at FF. I don’t expect him to kick many goals but I would really like too see what potential he has in that position.

Might be a bit early but this guy has the potential to be the best full forward in the game in 5 or so years IMO. The main thing that excites me about this kid is that he’s still pretty raw to the game too.

Would be much appreciated but can someone explain to me what it means when people say ‘GWS can match bid & they get Green’ ? I presume they get leverage because he’s from their academy but how do they match the bid ?

If we don’t take this bloke at 3 we’re just downright stupid. Our kicking & decision making were our major problems this season, this guy helps solve both those issues.

I’d replace AVB with Jones & if Hibberd doesn’t perform at the start of the season replace him with Hore.

Papley yes, Daniher no. But if I’m being honest I don’t think both player warrant the same value as 2 top 10 picks.

This is going to get ugly ... like 2007 grand final ugly With the emergence of Pickett & returns of Rance, Stak & Higgins all to come back into their side next year we could be seeing another Hawthorn-like dominance from the Tigers over the next couple of years unfortunately.
