I’m with you. I went to my first game in 10 years (northern rivers since 2011) at Metricon early in season and took an avo/sauerkraut/rocket salad with pine nuts plus other assorted goodies. Looking at what was being sold, er, no thanks a glass of bunnamagoo or mondavi might have been a nice finish.

I’ve been in covid iso this week and been replacing rotten timber on exposed end of my deck. Having run string lines for every 5th board I would like to line up before a firing squad whomever laid it originally as it’s as crooked as a politician. It has been a nightmare to straighten and space properly (ie 5-8mm not 0.5mm). I don’t want to even start on posts set into the ground (sloping block) and lack of termite barrier . Dear god. Nnnnope. collingwood are becoming unbearable but the media attention is good - the pressure will ratchet up. I’d rather not lose to Collingwood or Geelong in any final but especially not Collingwood if it has to be someone, Freo or Lions I think.

The best thing about Collingwood’s winning run is the focus will intensify and then, friends, there will be pressure. Very pressure. It will make the loss when it comes just lovely.
