Mac Andrew
What amazes me is there are so many posts and features on a player, when from 2 months out from the draft, was never going to be available to the MFC. Where is the 20 page thread on say Daicos?

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
Agree. And from all reports was nicer too.

RECRUITERS BEST TEAMS
BPs team had much unrealized potential.

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
I wonder if he is in past players association......

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
Absolutely, though he did have a 'Touch of Frost'

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
Having a Jacob on the list got me researching. Came across Graeme Jacobs, when as a kid I liked to pronounce it Jak Obs. I remember in 64 listening to the radio, 2 big guns up forward, Jacobs and Bourke. Jacobs wore # 20. So here is a list of all the players since 64 who have worn that number. Graeme Jacobs Paul Rowlands Laurie Queay Shane McSperrin Paul Hurst - premiership with Carlton Brian Cook - yes it is him Graeme Gaunt Russell Richards - Rhino Mathew Febey Troy Broadbridge - great matchup for Hird. RIP Colin Garland Corey Maynard Adam Tomlinson It is a very even contest but who is the best since 64. I will go Febey/Garland/Tomlinson Thoughts?

If I can be frank, I haven't heard it before; well I have heard of frankfurts, not sure that counts....

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
I must admit I do cringe when I hear 'We didnt think a quality pick like this would be available so late in the draft'. and think of this what if scenario... Say every other club has a different choice for Nos 1 player including MFC who thinks it is JVR. And say all the other clubs agree the 2nd best player is JVR. So in an uncompromised draft the Dees have pick 18 and pick JVR. So the agreed 2nd best player in the draft goes to the Dees at pick 18 ( I know, we think it mazing) The humidity in Cairns is pickling my brain.

2021 Player Reviews: #2 Nathan Jones
Well I hope so. If your partner doesnt stick up for you, who will. I was disappointed that he didnt play in the GF but not at the selection decision.

2021 Player Reviews: #2 Nathan Jones
I just re watched the ANZAC game against the Tigers. Excellent game of wet weather footy. Lucky Bolton missed some sitters. It was great to see Jonesy out there flying the flag for Max and Kossie. He had a grin from ear to ear after the argy bargy. Most enjoyable. Over the festive season why not give this one another look. Recommended. Luv ya Jonesy. Does anyone know what his intentions are next year - coaching, VFL, ammos????

And more importantly should Sparrow have given it back

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
I must admit I am impressed with your scale. We could make a killing out of this. How about a scale for moral fibre (De Goey being 0 and Stynes being 10), I am sure there could be many more.

Furphy Melbourne Premiers Cases of Beer
Cant they just do a pre - order and when they get to a profitable quantity turn on the tap? No doubt the marketing department wants to produce Furphy beer rather than MFC beer.

Furphy Melbourne Premiers Cases of Beer
Strewth! and the even years?? Do you miss it? We have cut right back until the Xmas celebrations start. Noticed I have got a tad cranky.

In Jason Taylor we trust!
Perhaps not, but like LJ, what you want them to do is compete in the contest. As an aside, I thought Daw was a curious drafting decision due to his age, ability and past injuries. Perhaps they wanted a familiar face for when Mac Andrew arrived. Still, would have won us some brownie points at AFL HQ.

Hope so. When Norf won in the 90's they struggled to make a $ due to their small membership nos and pricing to fit. Crows struggled too as in those days the Club had to cover the cost of travel and accommodation in Melbourne; or so they said. But luckily for us the Dees supporters have come out of the woodwork (or if you are an Aliens fan they have come out of the ceiling) and snapped up all the cheese boards asap.

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
I hope so. An average player that looked better in a great team.

Welcome to Demonland: Andy Moniz-Wakefield
Is his bottom as big as Gavins? Just asking as I sat next to some Port supporters who predicted every free kick he got - stick bum out lean forward and get paid in the back
