How young were you when Barass last raised the cup?
I was 8 yrs, 4 months and 10 days. We sat front row, top deck, old Olympic Stand, up against the MCC fence. My best friend from over the road came with us. The only memory which I am sure is my own was jumping in the air with excitement and relief when we won.

How I feel about other supporters who want to jump on our journey
I had some fondness for Carlton and North because of Barassi. And some of my mates followed the Tigers so I was on that bandwagon in the 70's. And there is much goodwill to the MFC simply because we are called Melbourne. All aboard.

Top of the table
Nah, Bowey doesn't look that old, he looks like an Auskicker...I half expect him to pick up the ball and go home if he doesn't get a kick. Great football brain. Go Dees.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
The game wasnt on the telly here in Cairns. Is it safe to come out from under my rock? The messages from down south were so miserable that I turned off my phone at half time. Go Dees....

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Can't handle this. Me thinks if we win the Cats know what to do next time, and if we lose they have already worked it out. Back under my rock.....

TEAMS: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Mr Titan, I have been meaning to ask for some time but have you ever met Mega Saurus? But I digress,,,, when I saw egregiously I nearly choked on my weeties....I had to reach for my Funken Wagtail....big word even for a MFC forum....unfortunately the translation could come out as shockingly bad bad decision but I will settle for outstandingly....my brain hurts...

Getting the jab
No brainer doing it at Bunnings....always a crowd.

Getting the jab
My first AZ gave me a 'foggy head' for half a day; found 2 cooked bbq sausages in the fridge, ate them, and it cleared asap. My second shot no reaction. A friend got a rash from the second shot.

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
I will allow it as technically touching a really cold substance can cause a burn. Oh glory days, dogs losing and the Hawks winning a valueless game....

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
Under these circumstances, yes, but only if it makes you feel like vomit as well

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast

What they're saying in their Polo Shirts at 42 Bishopsgate Street.
"Seeing Gawn and Jackson tear it up for Melbourne today gives me the chills thinking about next week" Chills? are we playing in NZ?

Trade Targets
No way. Last time we had a crack he said 'I am NOT going to the Dees'. With that attitude Gaff can go stick his head up a dead bears posterior. (And he is incredibly slow).
-
The trade Jack Viney thread
I am now thinking that it was a 'cunning plan' by the cats NOT to entice Jack to Geelong. His delivery is so poor he could get a job in Vaccine Rollout. But 100% for courage and the ability to win the ball.

TEAMS: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Who were the 4 'guns' on the bench?
-
Tom McDonald
I loved Toms pleasant chat with a Port supporter on the boundary line and the way he had a crack back at Boak. He is playing happy football.

Which MFC player have you met personally?
Does sitting behind Gary Hardeman in a fund raiser screening of They're a Weird Mob count? (At the Classic in Elsternwick I think) I met Garry Lyon at a book signing (would you believe) and I asked if Chris lamb was going to make it....his non response was very telling. I used to go into the rooms after the game and remember Graham Osborne speaking to me - Get out of the way son.

Umpire Margetts is a bit of a bad-luck charm for Dees
Dont tell me he is back out of retirement!!!!!????

Umpire Margetts is a bit of a bad-luck charm for Dees
Who was the umpire who didnt pay the mark to Jimmy Stynes in the goal square in the dying secs and we lost. The following day the umpire announced his retirement. Or did I just nightmare that....

What they're saying down at Windy Hill
Have they said 'We have a massive chip on our shoulder' and 'We choked in the last 10 minutes'
