Training Ground?
Interesting article in the Age today re the public land at Caulfield Racecourse. Part of the article below: "The trust overseeing public space at Caulfield Racecourse is running out of money and is warning that public access to the land at the centre of the track could be limited if it does not get funding." "It is also looking to sporting organisations, including the Melbourne Football Club, to help fund the public space, with the AFL club one of several organisations submitting an expression of interest to establish a standalone training facility at the racecourse." "The Melbourne Football Club declined to comment."

What they are saying at the Hangar
She might be a seriously deranged lady (whom we all love), but I really object at calling her a banana. You just cannot go around insulting bananas WCW like that. Sheâs a lady, please show her some respect.

What they are saying at the Hangar
God another typo - you were never demented - always âseriously derangedâ. Sorry again.

What they are saying at the Hangar
Haha You are one strange lady WCW (notice I didnât revert to calling you demented this time). Imagine if by some catastrophe we manage to lose. Youâll be sitting in the car with your DA mates driving all the way back from Adelaide with an extra couple of hundred $ in your account - and wondering if it will be wise to tell your car mates this news. They might leave on the side of the highway - Reach pledge or not. I certainly would!

Stats Files - 2023
Thanks for your work DD - one question though. A number of posters on here have been bemoaning Gusâs performances this year - particularly the last 2 games. Your rankings tell a very different tale. Under your system, what performance indicators rank him a lot higher than people give him credit for?

TMac would have known what to do.

Mid-Season Trade Period
I hate the idea, but seems as though Goody wants it, which surprises me.

Harrison Petty - KPF in 2023
I originally thought the talk of playing Petty forward was not smart - I mean, why weaken our backline to plug a gap up forward? But Iâve got to admit the move forward Sunday turned out to be a very good move, and I hope, now, that we persist with it for a few games at least, if not the rest of the year if it works out. And by working out I mean that Tomo or Disco can slot in seamlessly into our backline, if they are needed. Up forward, Petty, by taking one of the best defenders, will take some of the pressure off JVR till he really finds his feet in AFL football. Iâm not hopeful that TMac has a lot more to give - I think time and injury are huge hurdles for him. I also believe the fast game we are trying to play does not help BBB, given his leg issues, and this showed on Sunday. It must frustrate him no end that his body canât do what he knows he used to. Petty forward may well be a great move by Goody (or a desperation move given the above), but a move welcomed by many on here, and now Iâve jumped on board - late as usual.

That heading would of had far more impact a few years ago - when he was still good!

Clayton Oliver 150th Game
That banner is really impressive. I mean really, really good. Iâm sure Oli will feel very proud, and, as such, the DA should also feel proud of what theyâve done and continue to do. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated, and talented group, representing the supporter in all of us.
