  1. If he decides to go, I would have thought that we won’t hear anything till after our season is complete. We will probably hear sooner if he decides to stay
  2. Given his form, it wouldn’t have been a certainty.
  3. I may have missed it, but has Majak explained why he is retiring now? Just seems odd to me. I know he is currently injured but you’d think he’d want to be part of a Casey premiership. I sincerely hope there are no other “health” issues involved. If there are, I hope we get behind him.
  4. Haha Even with that explanation I still have no idea what you said.
  5. If I was looking to meet with LJ and try and entice him, then it sure wouldn’t be in a public forum like a Mordialloc cafe!
  6. WCW, i have never been close with any of the previous brain teaser's - so probably not too hard if i can get it. Probably just luck on my part. This is how my brain works - looked at the names and immediately thought aha, famous cross dressers! But based on my past record of success, I thought I'd better have a back up option. So i looked up the first name (Hogg) and read that he had been delisted, went to another club, and won a premiership. Thought that might be a more likely choice than my first option, so I went with it. WCW, i find all these teasers impossible to solve, but just got lucky this time.
  7. Could be, but how about this - no one else is dumb enough to go with him on these trips.
  8. If that’s the case, then it’s fortunate that I haven’t said anything too bad about ANB for a couple of years. And more than thankful, for once, that I live in Sydney. (She scares me)
  9. I have no idea if we have been loading or not. But I do have a genuine question. If we are loading, wouldn’t this also affect our Casey team - which is 3/4 made up of MFC players who would also be loading? Casey are still undefeated, but have we seen any major drop offs in team performance after half time in the last 3 weeks?
  10. 3 weeks ago I saw that MFC were 8:1 to miss the top 4 and 20:1 to miss the final 8. Now we are 3.6:1 to miss the 4, and 13:1 to miss the 8. I thought the odds 3 weeks ago were too good to pass up. Also, when I back something it generally loses. And more than happy to lose, but if I win, at least I’ll have some money in my pocket to help me drown my sorrows.
  11. Given the treatment he cops every week, Max was a ticking time bomb to get hurt in some fashion - so not unexpected, but still not an easy pill to swallow. However, I’m gutted for Disco Turner, who will obviously now remember his first game for all the wrong reasons. We wish both a quick mend.
  12. haha Old Dee - if you have a bad feeling he's off to WA, then I'm finally convinced he will stay.
  13. Just heard that Joel Smith wont be available for this dinner.
  14. If games were played over 2 quarters, we'd still be undefeated. Unfortunately it takes performance over 4 quarters to win a game against good opposition. Just too many passengers these last 3 weeks especially, but there has been signs of this nearly all season. So not too happy at the moment with our team, when we know they are capable of so much better. Perhaps its time for a real shake up: In: May, Dunstan, Weid, Rivers, Daw, Bedford, Harmes (sub) Out: M.Brown, Turner (injured), BBB, ANB, Sparrow, Harmes, Chandler (sub) B. Hibbert May Lever HB. Rivers Petty Salem C. Langdon Brayshaw Jordon HF. Kossie Weideman Petracca F. Bedford Jackson Fritsch F. Gawn, Oliver Viney Int. Daw, Dunstan, Spargo, Bowey Will we make this many changes? Most likely not. But after the last 3 weeks, its almost cathartic to have expressed my disappointment in this way.
  15. Great word “spuddle”. Particularity apt for ANB yesterday - extremely busy while achieving absolutely nothing.
  16. Loved the banner today guys. It’s just a shame we were not as good.
  17. At the moment, I think I’d rather keep Turner in and send Lever back to Casey to gain some form. Turner looked accomplished- Lever looked second rate (again).
  18. Based on what I’ve seen, I think Woewoden will debut before a lot of the others.
  19. They just showed 5 best highlights from last round. The run down tackle by Mac Andrew was sensational.
  20. I bet Uncle would luv to answer that Picket - not sure he’s game.
  21. Granted he got a lot of the ball, but i thought he turned it over far too often to be recalled to the ones.
  22. We’ve talked about May and we’ve talked about Melksham, but I’m wondering what Joel Smith is currently thinking? We haven’t mentioned him. By all accounts he organised the dinner and presumably asked the 5 or 6 others to attend. So a close knit bunch of guys, friends, going to dinner. Then Joel, by all accounts, is verbally denigrated by one of said friends. If I was Joel, would I want to be playing down back with that person any more? He obviously doesn’t trust or believe in me. I think I might ask Goody if I can train with the forwards from now on. It will be interesting to see how (and if) the fences can be mended after this. I have my doubts they can.
