Please show me where it is written that we are, “factually”, the laughing stock of all other AFL supporters. What a silly thing to say. So is your defining of different classes of supporters to deride those who choose not to attend a game. Hate to think how’d you classify me then. I’d have to be below your “theatre goer” classification, because I rarely go. Maybe I cannot be classified as a supporter at all. Maybe I’m simply a “barracker”.

@Abyssal If, by some chance, you are referring to WCW with your non-too cryptic remark, I’m sure that, if she possibly wanted too, she could well claim the crown as the most loyal supporter we have. But she’d never do that because I think you and some other DL’s totally misunderstand where,I believe, she is coming from. It’s obvious that she loves the club and the players so much that she cannot abide anyone disparaging their name. They are truely like sons (and daughters to her) and as such won’t hear a bad word said against them. Imagine if your son received some of the same vitriol that our players are often subjected to on this site. I think you would react to that - I know I would. Perhaps, for her own good, (and not yours) WCW should be banned from the match day thread once the game has begun, and the post match thread for at least a day after a completed match (unless of course if we win). WCW might be deranged (my affectionate term for her), but do realise it’s her sons and daughters playing out there - so beware. If you have the right to spew vitriolic comments about one of our players, then she has the right to be critical of your comments. We are all different, just understand and accept that. Despite her “derangedness”, she can light up DL, and for me, and I’m sure many others, she makes this site a whole lot better than it would be without her.

Beelz, you know as well as I do that we are not going to know specifically what she’s done without asking her for her timesheets - and I’ll let you ask her for them. Superficially, what we know is that she was in charge when we got out of what could have been a second rate facility at Goshes. We also know that she was in charge when we got into the Caulfield project. Like you, I’d like to know more about the current situation. But without knowing the facts, you cannot say that she has done sfa - and again, superficially, the change from Goshes to Caulfield would appear to be an excellent move, which will hopefully come off.

Where you are correct Beelz is that we should, as members, be getting more updates - even if vague in nature. But that wasn’t your initial statement /argument was it. You said Roffey has “done sfa” - which I still say is a bit unfair.

I think that’s bit unfair beelz. All of us have no idea really what progress is going on - which I’m sure is due to non- disclosure agreements. And just because you and I are not being kept in the loop, doesn’t mean she is not, as best she can, progressing this option - which as we know is under the control of other organisations. If Caulfield turns out to be a bust then maybe your comment will have merit, but not yet.
