  1. It doesn’t. The actual posters don’t. It a watermark to prevent people making their own copies without ordering it
  2. I would have preferred a little hair on his head, a bit more red, bigger/longer horns and I don’t know why the 1964 tattoo is there (was 1954 on the Dogs 2016 poster?) but otherwise I’m pretty happy. I mean it’s the best we could expect from Mark Knight. He’s no Weg.
  3. Here's a better view of it:
  4. It’s pathetic that they still even mention those jokes. We’ve won the minor premiership and are favourites in the grand final. They’re redundant now. People are so used to Melbourne being the whipping boys, they can’t accept that its the direct opposite now. I wonder how long they went on about a Brisbane like this when they won their hat trick? Sad really
  5. He told me that weg did several of each team before he died. That way they only need to add the year. If you look closely, he has tweaked that Demon. He’s made it a bit thinner, his forehead, made him darker red, etc. I don’t have any real problems with that, but if they’re tweaking, why didn’t they make the last fork on the pitchfork the same size? It makes it less obvious what he’s doing in the poster.
  6. I am in NO way suggesting it returns at a permanent basis. But we should be able to hear it somewhere. Why write its lyrics in our site but never use them? It’s confusing
  7. I can’t find the link to it but the 1988 was sensational. It was by far the best poster he did for us. Now that he’s selling them and if by some chance we do lose, is he going to reuse it again if we make another one?
  8. I have that and it doesn’t sing the second verse on mine
  9. If we win the premiership, will they finally play the second verse of ‘It’s a grand old flag ‘ Here it is for people who don’t know it: Oh, the team played fine in the year Thirty-Nine, We're the Demons that no one can lick, lick, lick And you'll find us there at the final bell With the spirit of Twenty-Six, Six, Six I was told it was revived for 2011. I was living in America at that time. Is that true? Does anyone have a recording of it? I’m not suggesting we bring it back permanently, but I’d like to hear it for curiosity’s sake.
  10. What did I say, eh? 😉

Too young to remember this, but fooryjumpers.com is wrong. Our logo actually debuted in 1976, not 1977. Gee look at it though. Who drew it? The eyes are mismatched, massive gap between eyes and nose, lines very crooked.. First, I thought it was child’s drawing of out 1977 logo, but this was on our actual annual report. I guess they got a professional artist to do it again next year. Anyone knows who drew this?
  12. I can guarantee if they played extra time, St Kilda would have one. That’s two grand finals they’ve won on the benefit of now non-existent rules (drawn games.)
  13. That night Shane Woewodin narrowly beat Scott West. If anything that’s a good sign
  14. It’s pretty good, but I liked the Harv time better. Oh well I guess that looked too much the the lead character in “Aaagh! It's the Mr. Hell Show” Our very first Mark Knight poster.
  15. NOW this thread has got racy 😏
  16. That’s what I thought in 2006. 5 years later I was tired of hearing “it’s a rebuild season.”
  17. I know it’s too late, but a mate of mine told me the best way to prevent that was to keep the bottle upside down. That way the cork keeps wet, doesn’t crack and let air in.
  18. When you say you’re a Melbourne supporter. Mine would have to be: “when was the last time Melbourne won the premiership?” Saturday can change that
  19. Did anyone else see the [censored] on Sportsbet page? Even my brother who’s getting one if we win isn’t this stupid
  20. My dads like that with me still. I don’t know how old I have to be to get him to understand that that ship has already sailed
  21. Felt a bit crook yesterday. The doctor told me one of the thing I need to do is cut down on stress. Now that’s an impossibility
  22. My mother was a demon supporter before she died. She would have loved it. My uncle definitely won’t see next grand final. I feel for them. Especially Robbie. He was the last demon I saw as a demon through and through. Barracked for the team all his life. Kept trying to play for our club and our club only, despite numerous rejections. Refused many offers to leave and have success with other clubs. The mans loyalty and love for this club was matched by none. He was a demon through and through.
  23. #allfiredup I hope they use this for grand final day. It’s been our theme this year
  24. Photos or it never happened 😉
