Time to go Goody?
48-49 W/L 48-39* since the flag. 9-18 since Round 11 last year. With several 50+ point defeats. Still people will defend the coaches.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Why is Turner running back and not going to the bench ffs. You gave us no chance to defend that play.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
All I do is hold people accountable. Goody, the board, the players. Kolt and other 1st and 2nd year players can't get a pass for being [censored].

What is Sparrow doing if Rioli can take an uncontested mark on him

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Is Kolt the biggest personality who has done sweet [censored] all as a player?

Trade Targets
Because Fullarton is the only tall forward we've been able to bring in. My main point is that I accept we are looking, but it's been an utter failure to not bring in anyone for 5 years.
-
Trade Targets
He has had bad luck with injuries... Let me just check Fullarton's stats in comparison.

Trade Targets
I agree we have been looking and those who say otherwise are 'nuffies'. However, we haven't landed anything. That's not good enough. If you believe reports, Ben King will be a pie. If that does happen that would mean Collingwood would have brought in McStay and King in 5 years. Us? Fullarton (does he count)?

Max and May after the siren
I really think May's actions show a difference in how people like to receive feedback themselves and how they think feedback should be delivered. Phil Davis spoke about this on radio earlier, he acknowledged it's not a nice look, but if it gets a response then you circle back and say that was great leadership. Now I don't think we will circle back to this in the coming weeks, it's just a storm in a teacup in my opinion. All I can say is if I was on the field and in May's position I would've reacted in a similar way, as I did sitting in my chair at home. It's not a personal attack on Max, nor does it spoil my image of him as a champion of our club and our captain. It's just frustration on losing the game. You can also be damn sure I would be giving feedback to Clarry, Christian, Bayley and Kozzy for their last quarter brain farts that cost us as well.

4th Quarter blues
Goodwin saying this now, after 9 rounds when any fan could've pointed this out after round 3 is akin to him saying 'no comment' to the question. Since Burgess left we've not been the same physically. Yet no changes have been made.

TRAINING: Friday 17th April 2025
No May.... Howes in. Not like it makes much difference at the moment.

Key position forward - Archie Ludowyke
Talk about pressure on XL to perform..

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
Another to add to the large bucket of small forwards who can't score goals consistently. Can't have 4 of them in your team every week.

Letter from Brad Green
If Brad's statement stopped at the first paragraph and started again at the i want to thanks the members part then you could argue this is an acceptable/nothing statement. In totality, what has been sent out, is a load of [censored] and an insult to the intelligence of our fan base.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Goody should've been sack when he lost to the Eagles by 6 goals in Perth. Haven't been the same since. You just know he will come out and say we've improved in his press conference and "we have enormous belief in our plan and have a desire to get better". Just bin him for the love of god. Post North after Chandler kicked 3 goals and all his defenders came rushing out I said he wouldn't kick 3 goals in his next 3 games (and if he did I'd donate 50$ to charity). He kicked 1 and was a passenger again. This is our problem. So many sub standard players that rode on the back of the elite guys. Was that the difference in the game? No.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Smelling like a 10 goal loss. Also, my statement post Chandler's 3 goal game against North was that he wouldn't kick 3 goals in his next 3 games. He has kicked... checks notes.... 1. Why do we have small forwards that can't average more than a goal a game getting a kick?

That's a scary listen.

PODCAST: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Two points for me. If you re-watch the game or the highlights, do you find it staggering how much more movement there is from Geelong players to create an option for a kicker compared to when we have the ball. You can't play keepy-offs like we tried in the previous rounds with next to no movement providing options for our kicker. If my memory serves me correct, last year we had a Ruck coach, coaching our forwards, a midfield coach, coaching our mids and finally, a defensive coach, coaching our defenders. This year we have a defensive coach, coaching our forwards, a novice coaching our mids and a defensive coach, coaching our defenders. This is just my opinion, but I find it crazy we haven't had a proper forwards coach at the club. It's sad to listen to greats forwards from previous generations talk about the issues some of our players are having individually and I find it hard to blame the players for this. Your thoughts?

How many players have improved ?
J. Brown: Van Rooyen needs to work on his foot work, it's poor, he is very clunky. His ability to turn his defender isn't great. I think about it as a phone box, what's your craft in the phone box. How can you use your feet and strength to protect the drop zone, for him it's not there. He is turning balls where he has 60/40 advantage to 50/50 at best. To me it looks he tries to hard or is terrible at reading the flight of the ball and runs under the ball as well. This is what happens when you don't actually have someone who is a forward, coaching forwards.

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Why can Geelong kick a ball inside 50 and hit a target? Why can basically every AFL team do that bar us? Coaching? Personnel? List management? In the last quarter I reckon Geelong hit more targets inside 50 than we did in the last two weeks.

Still waiting for this theory that we tactically managed our fitness so we could out run the Suns today to come to fruition

Time to go Goody?
Ok, so no coach should ever be binned off if any of their players get injured during the season. You would rather talk in hypotheticals rather than face the facts we have been performing like a bottom 4 side over the last 17 games.
-
Time to go Goody?
Respectfully, I'm tired of injuries being an excuse for two simple reasons: 1. Every team gets injuries. 2. We've been beaten badly and trending downwards even with a full strength team on the park. Our form line is our form line. If it never turns around, we will finish bottom 4 (After trading our first round selection out).
