I'll say everybody contributed tonight and we got a comprehensive win because of it. I've been critical of Harmes in the past but his start to this year has been fantastic, well done Harmesy. Weid competed well tonight and i am glad he got his goal. Rivers, Jordon, Sparrow and Hunt had some real good moments when you could excuse them taking a breather and not push that extra yard which is fantastic because we have players on the comeback trail who are as talented and hungry.

How the hell is Lever going to return from a tear in 10 days? that'd be super human wouldn't it? everything i see suggest a few weeks at a minimum.

I remember at half time i was sitting there pretty down trying to prepare myself to watch the most important half of football in my life.The dogs were the only team i thought would give us a game and to that point they had. Bont goal sailed over my head and i thought that was the game. Thank god i was wrong!

If it's possible i'd have the same team in from Round 1 but i think it's reasonable to want Hunt in over Hibberd (unless of course Hibberd is in real good form) as you Hunt is younger and offers speed.

Happy for all the fans that got to attend today, i was blessed to attend live here in Perth and still riding on the high of the win. I hope today on the rewatch those that missed out got to feel something close to what i did. One of the things i'll never forget about this premiership is the reaction i saw from my family, they were as excited as i was when we had won. They've all seen multiple premierships on the TV supporting the Eagles and Hawks, but never had the opportunity to attend a grand final before. They all said it was the best experience going to the footy they've ever had and they were all as emotional as me and all the Dee's fan sitting around me in the cheer squad when we blitzed the doggies.

Didn't Brock McLean donate money to help the club when it was trying to get rid of the debt? As some posters have said here, i doubt there are very few people who have left this club with anger in there hearts that hold it against the club rather the individuals in charge. McLean could rightfully be angry at our management during his years at the club but be happy we've turned ourselves around.

Just want to give a few thoughts now that i've recovered emotionally. Jack Viney was the underrated key in the midfield, did everything he could to will the ball forward all night. Tom Sparrow did the shutdown role on Daniel after halftime. Rivers and Hibberd were magnificent. I said Lever and Salem will need to have the games of their lives, but the way the match ups worked out we really needed Hibberd and Rivers to win their battles and they did. Angus Brayshaw, what a 3rd quarter. His crunching spoil on Schache got a very loud cheer from everyone around me.

I was in the cheer squad and there was a lady in the front row in her breast cancer melbourne guernsey after Bont had kicked his 3rd that turned around and said the next goal we get go absolutely mad and don't stop. I like to think the rousing cheers he got when he and the boys did their post match laps at Optus infront of the demon army who were going mad applauding anyone in red and blue that moved changed his mind to stay.
