Assistant coaches
Does anyone know if Luke Breust will be moving into coaching?

The Sam Flanders Thread
I wouldn't mind us paying some of the wage + GWS desperate for Mids with Cog and Kelly on their last legs.

The Sam Flanders Thread
My theory is Aleer goes to Saints where GWS swap their first for STK first and some later future picks change hands. GWS trade 8 and a future 1st for Trac.

Assistant coaches
Interested in why he left in 2021 and didn't work for 4 years.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
If Chaplin goes then we will now need 2 new assistants. Yet if you asked me, Nathan was the weakest of the 3. From the press conference Griffiths is staying on. FML.

Jimmy Bartel
Surprised Jimmy is interested in the role tbh. Maybe he is sick of talking to Eddy.

Selwyn Griffiths
Well done Clayton. We want honesty, not smoke and mirrors.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
27 pages of catch up completed. I enjoyed the part about Disposal Efficiency and the quick break to talk about the Collingwood game. Less concerned about who gets the senior gig and more about senior coaches. Don't think our current list of assistants is good.

Cam Bruce to Melbourne?
Cal just said it's more than likely Cam Bruce stays at Brisbane. I mean, hardly blame him. Stacked midfield with F/S and NGA's galore to feed the next generations.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
This team is just fake fit. No one is surprised we coughed that up because it's been the same for 2 seasons now. "Loading" excuses always been laughable. Also Harry Sharp played the worst game i've seen all year last week, got to be sub this week and was a negative influence.

Can not believe no changes. Sharp and Sparrow had horrible games.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Do the players feel embarrassed at their performances? Like that was pathetic.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
We actually lost that quarter, they had less then 10 inside 50's. Is anyone in this club embarrassed?

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Longest I've heard Caro speak without negatively bashing Melbourne. In all seriousness, Buckley takes over from Malthouse a year ahead of schedule. Takes over a team that played in multiple grand finals in recent years. Has Malthouse's boys running the show. Buckley struggles to get everyone on the same page and after 2 years they rebuild. Perhaps Buckley didn't handle the situation right, but those are lessons of a first time coach. Interesting to see what he will do with our list if given the reigns.

Knowing how to win
He must've been filthy a lot this season then... hasn't changed anything.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The past 3 weeks we've played bottom sides and the Bulldogs (who can't defend). The most impressive thing we did these 3 weeks was be 46pts up against the Saints who are tracking well with the underlying numbers.

Knowing how to win
This is going to sound crazy, but I don't think Gawn is great when we lose. It's probably unfair as we know little about what happens inside the 4 walls. However, he has plenty of interviews where, in my opinion, he gives off a laid back attitude/vibe. Probably because it's in his nature to be light hearted, crack a joke etc. I think on the other side of the coin you have Jack, who in his first year was telling his teammates he was embarrassed at the lack of fight in the team. So a middle ground probably needs to be struck. Further to BoBo's point, one thing that stuck with me was an interview Oliver did after we lost to Adelaide by a few points in the season we won the flag. The battling Crows ended our long unbeaten run, and spoiled Clarry's milestone game from memory. Oliver had 30+ and kicked 2 or 3, basically willed us to the line and we lost. Post game he just said: "not a lot of positives to take to be honest, I hate losing." Those words from Oliver made me believe we were on for the flag more than any of our previous performances. So now when I look at Clarry and the other senior boys, I ask myself, do they hate losing as much as they once did?

PODCAST: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
I'd personally keep all 3, but not play all 3 at centre bounce ever again. I think 1 of the 3 should be in there with 2 of Rivers, Pickett, Windsor, Langford, and Lindsay going forward. Question for the pod - Your the GM, your call to make on what happens with Richardson, Griffith's, Choco, Chaplin, Jones and Bassett at end of the season. My dream was a complete revamp. However, I think the club needs some consistency. I'd axe Griffiths, Jones and Bassett. Move Chaplin back as defensive line coach. Head hunt best midfield (Cam Bruce, Matthew Boyd) and forwards coach (Brad Miller, Scott Burns, Scott Selwood) possible.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
The post got in the way? The post don't move. Disco doesn't know where he is, he is just ball watching with no idea where he is or his man has gone. You're right about our clearance work. It's been a disaster for years considering how dominant Max is in terms of winning hit outs.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
I can't believe people are ripping into Viney when Disco gave up 3 goals through brain dead decisions. His effort on the last Naughton goal was as bad as anything we've seen this season.
