With all due respect, what might need to change is your perception of how effective forward lines actually function in 2023 and what yields the best results based on our personnel. I won't fully dismiss it, but I'm not sure this is necessarily a forward coaching issue.

Moneyball theory probably suggests the dump kick yields better returns I'm guessing. Our drop in scoring likely correlates with our small forwards drop in form.

Why do we continually be referred to as the best midfield in the comp when none of the stats back that up whatsoever? We are ranked 10th for clearances in the comp, and only 3rd for hit outs with supposedly the two best ruckman in the game. Any talk of our midfield being anything but average is complete rubbish.

I think our performance has been covered enough in this thread, but I will say it’s great to see May find some form again. I thought he was the only one who stood up for 4 quarters last night. Worrying signs, but we have a run of games ahead against quality sides to prove me wrong.

I don't understand this sentiment really. Haven't we scored the most points in the comp so far? Last time I checked we were the most accurate too. Beware the team with many avenues to goal that don't just rely on 1 or 2 KPF's.
