  1. The Weid will learn something out of the great man. JB has the knowhow and will definitely give him some vital tips and strategies Lets hope this could be the making of the Weid, He certainly has the talent.
  2. I wish you DZ and all of your loved ones the very best. Hope that 2021 is something back to normal and sanity for all of us.
  3. Just so you know Adem Yze was a very keen Dons man. However he finished his playing days as a one club player. 271 games. I don't think Salem is going anywhere any time soon. However, Interesting to see what Oliver is thinking. Hope he signs. Soon!
  4. Chew us up and spit us out. What is new with the AFL like l said they are SLY!
  5. I cannot see Bowey or Laurie and Rosman as permanent fixtures in 2021 Skills and speed with raw talent. We are not starting from scratch and not rebuilding as the players are there. If they are good enough they will earn it . IMV our list is strong to do something special in the next two years and beyond we just have to get the mix right. I like our picks in the draft this year and last year as well and IMV our future certainly looks good.
  6. Three consecutive home games for Geelong at GMHBA Stadium rounds 21, 22 and 23 before the finals against the Dees , Saints and Giants. What a set up. Well done AFL you are so Sly......... You are lower than a pregnant Snake !
  7. Yes that is so. However think it like two future class players that we have acquired from the draft. Jackson and Rivers. What else can l say ?
  8. Young Trent Rivers plays like he has been around a number of years cool and composed taking on the game yet the kid has been in the system for one year and played only 9 games. Hard to believe. What a great pick up.
  9. The Fixture favours us However the West Coast away in rounds 21 and Geelong at the Cattery in round 23 would be our hardest apponents for the home and away games. All in all looks good for us IMV. There should be no excuses for some early wins. I cannot remember the last time that we avoided a trip to Perth against the Eagles.
  10. I could imaging DZ that you would be the loudest singing the song after a win. However l wouldn't be far behind you there.
  11. Great l expect us to be off to a good start for the season with a solid win against Freo. Looking forward to playing on the Gee on a Saturday and singing the song afterwards. That will certainly make my day.

  13. Yep ! amazing win. Burns holds on this time for the next test well done to him. Wade ? I don't know with him possibly will stay in. Pulkovski will have to wait his turn and learn to duck and weave which seems his weakness however concussions won't help his cause for now. I cannot see Warner missing the Boxing day test no way not him. Green will probably make way. All out for 36 who could believe it
  14. I hope you are watching Macca
  15. Josh Hazelwood 5 for 3 Who are we playing the Indian Under 12 side ? Hazelwood has underrated in my opinion at times however he has been phenomenal today.
  16. Kobe might not become as good as his Father however that is ok He would have to be special if he was to be as good. If Kobe happens to be half as good then he will turn out an excellent player for our club. I am hoping that we pick him and lock him in and within time he will get bigger and we just might have something. l am sure he has good footy genes. A Farmer running around at the Dees would be something special.
  17. Brown is second from the right are we missing someone? Are there 10 people in that silhouette or has Brown got a big head.
  18. 6 cm is a fair height on an opponent and a big advantage l hope he can use his speed , stamina and athletic ability to the maximum in his game.
  19. I have more confidence in Bowey and Laurie and a good feeling about them that they will be Fantastic contributor's for our club in the long run unlike Tom Scully AKA Benedict Arnold. Welcome to the MFC Bobby and Laurie
  20. A Feelgood story when Aaron plays his first game Must be highly regarded to be kept on the list after two knee reconstructions, let's hope the luck turns for the kid. I be looking forward with interest when Aaron makes his debut.
  21. I say this with a lot of hope and optimism every year goes by is like a hand full of goes left to see us with the Premiership . Held up high for all of the supporters to see. The group has to be mentally prepared and that is our Achilles heel. IMO we have the mix of the in our personnel. It just comes down to us in believing..... There is no window..in my IMV it comes down to the right combination and we have it.
  22. JT in 65 and 69 yes you are right If we win the Premiership and if l am still alive l will remember that one. I hope.
  23. I wore that number 16 he was my favourite back in the 60s as a kid proudly displaying the number on the back of my jumper wearing it to school. he was a fantastic rover and goal sneak. Won 2 Best and fairest and one of them in 1964 our premiership year.
  24. You have a point however Eddie has his problems and can be outspoken. He succeeded in acquiring. a permanent home base for his club and we are still searching. Eddie got the job done and a Premiership in his time.
  25. Glen Swan was his name and kicked 8 goals against Geelong in 1973. Only played 13 games . In that same game Robert Flower made his debut.
