OK I have got it now........Fritta was dropped for Smith. so he didn't play in the Prelim. Smith and Jones are our EMGS this game they were not added. Fritta didn't play then so that makes it 16. Thanks Goody is hoping for some 2018 magic so are most of us l think. Loyal to the core .

As you know l am not a fan of Joel Smith However l want him to play well when he is picked but he is frustrating to watch. Little boy lost. Give me one good game or being worthy of his position over the time he has being here? He is no near to being in our best 22. We have a healthy list and he gets a game ? Well what can l say. It is a well balanced side this week and they can turn it around. I would have kept Rivers but will bounce back as he has the time in front of him.

Glad to welcome the Weid into the side it might be what Tmac needs. It helps by having 2 focal points as targets. Omac is a great choice we missed the extra tall in the backline . Bennell is primed for a game like this against his old side. He was unlucky to miss after being in the side against Essendon. He will be pumped. Love Jetta and who doesn't experience and know how always counts. They are GREAT selections and cannot wait for them to be part of a win this week and beyond.

Perfect Tomlinson at CHB just playing on key talls that will release some pressure off May and Lever then can become the intercept player that he was when playing with the Crows. We look better with 3 good talls in the back half with Tomlinson down there . The extra tall that is missing. If we are to win games then we need 2 focal points in the forward line and we had them when we made finals in 2018. TOM and the WEID. That is the best we have. Give them another go together.

Vandenberg had a good game played fairly well compared to some and was his second game back and will be improving. You are being picky with who should be out. I see you haven't mentioned Smith, he will be the first to go. Rivers and don't be surprised Kossi you might find they could be managed to be rested.

Petracca is going to be an elite player for us and finally is showing what he is capable of doing as you have pointed out. 14 possessions in the 1st quarter he kept us in the game as he was everywhere busting his guts as were a few others. It took an umpire to stop him by penalizing him for holding the ball even though the Dumb Ump said that he had no prior attempt. Petrac will be one of that will help us turn it around. Just have to get the mix right. Stay tuned.

The Weid must play alongside TMac. It is the time to bring them together. Omac is needed to help out May and Lever. That would leave Lever to become our sweeper. The position he plays best. Jones has plenty of good footy left and is a leader. He will give his all. A good time to have them back. They all can play the game well on their day.

Yes and we are all bleeding. He is not a noted goal kicker yet he didn't miss by much. However we missed 2 earlier with Melksham and had chances during the match in play but made poor decisions.

Clearly need to play two tall key forwards and make them stretch just like they did to us today. We are missing another key back. That will leave Lever to intercept the position that suits him best. It is a good side picked and we can go in with confidence with more than a healthy list to pick from. It will be about team balance. With Hibberd, Vanders and Hannan it gives us a hard edge and with Kossi and Lockhart our future, they are certainly red hot goers. All good inclusions which makes the team very solid . It is a good start and now we have to make it happen.

Yes we are a moody team IMO how else can it be said. I know one thing a couple of good wins in our next 2 matches and the mood will change for the better. That means 3 -1 and a game in hand. JUST SAYING.

Melksham playing near his best is vital to our forward line and hard to match up, can pull down a mark one on one regularly.. However we have missed the presence Vanders the hard nosed bull that would liven up things out there and lead by example. Right on Dr G missed Vanders in 2019 and remember like yesterday of 2018 finals how good he was playing with minimal games for the year.. We are a better side with an injury free Vanders.

Chin up mate lets tackle any adversity that comes our way and if we somehow make it to the end then it will be well worth it. However that is what the year 2020 offers us. You never know this could toughen us for better years to come.
