POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
GREAT game from young Spargo with 3 goals . He has found his way back to form in the last 2 games. You can only beat what is in front of you and what a better way to smashing the enemy by almost 56 point . Preuss is a ruckman with composure and demonstrated his rucking skills. Out pointed Grundy IMO.

The Secret Behind Petracca’s “[censored] You” Season
No......... this is a different Christian Petracca where he knows and can play the game at an elite level as he is starting to do. Bring the game on IMO Petrac will be at it and don't forget the confidence is high with his partner in crime being Clarry. They compliment each other. We have an elite midfield now that Petrac has taken the next step . Petrac might not like to be compared to Dusty or being known as arrogant by others but it comes with the package l believe. EG Dangerfield comes across as a Figjam however l wish that he played for us being such a great player same as Martin .is. Christian can handle the pressure and what comes with it. Might be interesting to see if he can handle a tag. Looking forward to seeing how far he can take his game to.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
You think about it Viney yes however the others you mention are hard enough players they just don't have that hard edge. VDB might not be the most skillful player but he has a hard edge in his game. Maybe you don't pay enough attention to the way he plays IMO he is in our best 22. You say no. That's fine.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
VDB is tough as they come and won't shirk an issue it is good to have him out there injury free for a change and he can only improve with more game time. You need players who are hard at it that can make a team mate have confidence that he has your back.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Good to see Viney come back from concussion as he is a big game player, will be given his all. Lockhart is a good in to picking up Elliott. Keep him quiet and it will go a long way in winning. There will be many that would think that Preuss is a bit underdone. IMO keeps himself in good shape and he won't want to let the boys down.Has a big job to do on Grundy and co with support of course. Gawn will be missed however Preuss will do him proud.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
It is good to see Preuss come in certainly big enough to hold his own against Grundy and anyone else they have to combat him. Although not playing a game this year he is particularly a fit person and now he has the chance to showcase some of his rucking skills against Grundy who is not at his best. At 206 cm he will have his fair share of touches to our inform mids. Have a great game Preussy. Lets get the job done.

NON MFC: Round 12
Sydney opened the door to the eight and has given us that chance to be even more motivated. We cannot afford to slip up now. This is a great opportunity for us to make a statement. Let's ruffle some feathers .

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Yes l totally agree r f e we are on the same page. Why have Preuss on the list and not use him when necessary. You need a big man to combat Grundy . Keep Grundy at bay while he is not in form.

Ed Langdon Unsung Hero
Langdon is a ball winner and runs all day the only problem with his game is his kicking skills . Needs to improve that side of his game to become an elite player for our club.. Ed has been a great pick up and has fitted in well and looks at home in a Demons jumper.

Max Gawn Ruled Out vs Pies
Bring in the Beast Preuss GIVE HIM A GO !....... if Gawn doesn't make it. Why have him on the list if he can't get a game . Here is his chance to see what he can give to the team. He is well worth the risk and can match it with Grundy if he plays.

Goalkicking Issues
When kicking for goal may it be 10 20 25 30 40 45 plus you should always follow through with your kicking, simple! You would be right over the ball with a steady grip . A set shot close to goal can be costly and can stop momentum. It will cost you wins that's for sure. Petracca is the one who struggles to kick a close range goal. I wasn't surprised when he missed you can tell from his body language and the spinning of the ball in his hands when walking in to kick. I suggest giving Tony Lockett a call he would straighten our forwards. As for Fritsch he should learn to kick over the head of the goal umpire. Tony Lockett did.

Play Jack Viney forward
Viney can play in the middle when needed depending on the type of opposition we play. With the better midfield teams you need someone to combat the better type mid. However he can be rotated through the forward line and could become an advantage point. Lets see how we go when playing the much better sides.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
You can only play what is in front of you. No Gawn and no Viney it is time for the team to step up and take the responsibility. And they did it with 3 teenagers in the side. Jackson Rivers and Pickett total combined games,18 Our future was on display. We also have Jordon at 19 who hasn't played yet and wouldn't be surprised to see him play sometime this year. Then there are the 20 year olds in Petty,Chandler, Bedford, Dunkley and the other 2 that played against the Roos in Spargo and Sparrow and also did well. Yes the future is bright and there is no doubt .

Petracca , Oliver , Brayshaw , Action Jackson and TMac They dominated the middle after quarter time. 12 goals 10 behinds to 2G 3 B 22 shots at goals to 5 after quarter time. it was one way traffic . It was a demolition ! They always seem to match up well however not this time. FINALLY.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
I believe that with the thug Cunnington out their best midfielder and best sniper that will disadvantage them as Norf's protector. Brown although hasn't been at his best was always dangerous and has kicked multiple goals against us in recent times. Ziebell their captain leads them well. and he is one of the 3 most important not playing for them today. We have our outs and that is what it is however the guys know how important this game becomes. I have faith.

Luke Jackson's chances of winning the rising star? * nominated Round 10 *
Luke Jackson is our future can play in a number of positions that is why we picked him up with our pick 3. Can play in the ruck can go forward and also play as a midfielder. Luke will become a dangerous player for the opposition within the next couple of years. He has a great pair of hands can certainly take a mark and most of all for an 18 yo he looks composed and has no clumsiness in his game. For a big boy he looks polished and will only improve with game time.
