A good key forward that can kick multiple goals is worth his weight in gold. Every goal that they kick is worth double because they demand the ball and become a focal point that bring others into the game. Todd Viney's 2 left foot passes lace out were superb to Lyon in the 94 Prelim they were his best 2 passes that he made in his footy career. He wasn't the best at kicks however he was hard as nails just like Jack. Tingay, Martin Pike, Lovell, Brett Lovett, Shcwarz Lyon, .Stynes, Neitz The Febey's Todd Viney some of the players that were playing in the 94 Preliminary Final. Imo he seems happy enough and has the love of his mates and gives his all what more can you ask of him. Remarkable game by the Pies unfortunately they made the Finals and we didn't . They are mentally much tougher than we are and l don't like to say it however that it is a fact. Petty 20 yo can play forward as he has shown in the past and recruited as a key backman . Great to see the loyalty. Sparrow an up and coming future midfielder imo will make the grade. It is good to see our future signing up. They are great kids.

pf Please you don't forget Joel Smith he will never develop into a player. At least Frosty took the game on as Smith is a witches hat. Goody made a big mistake. With Lever having a better year and May having a sensational one it would have made Frosty' a better player with the confidence gathered from having them there. That would have been Smiths replacement.

WOW ! There are more eventful days with the rumours circling more than during the season proper. I would trade Burgess for a 1st and an early 2nd round picks no less. I think the Crows would be happy with that. In all honesty Burgo has been great and kept the guys on the park more so than l can remember.
