Got reno's happening at home and no fox tonight and next few days so tried to get updates on AFL site. That would have to be the worst website I have come across. Hard to get the scores unless your a Telstra client let alone watch it on the comp. At least I saw the game against North via web.. Listening through internet on radio now. AFL are clueless on supporters needs.

He will need some big big games at Casey to force himself into the one's as I suspect he has next to no chance for Round one

Great news and could well be a domino effect with others coming up to the end of existing contracts. It seems that these young fellas are in it together which is terrific for the club and of course us old suffering supporters.

If taking anything from the official team photo shoot it looks likely Viney and Gawn as Co Captains being either side of Goody. I would then go for Lever (great communicator at Maroochy), Jetta and Tom Mac.

I couldn't care less who they play or don't. If we are going to be any good we have to win this 1st round, not only for players own confidence but for the club as a whole plus of course relieves the pressure on the coach with a first up win. We can do it with who ever plays for us or them.

Finals

He did the full session on the Friday and bits and pieces on the Sunday. Told me his leg/knee was fine but that is now over a week ago and no doubt something flared up. He is as fit as he has been ever so reckon a minor hiccup. ( I hope)

Players I spoke to at Maroochy said if they feel any sort of little niggle they need to inform the staff and get off for a check so hopefully only minor and await the reports later.

Stars did their normal thing and chocked big time. Never liked teams with no guts and that is in all sports. This stars team have none at all. Front runners and pretty boys. Marcus hits it to some one that just moved there and Maxy goes the big slog against a class bowler and misses.Game over as they have no decent back up although Larkin has proved himself. The rest of the Batters should get back to club cricket quick.

Reckon he is spot on with RDB with Robbie close up his backside.

Kozzie certainly has that X factor however as you noticed in this clip and I noticed last Sundya that his disposal is just not there at the moment. He gets the ball OK however kicking to a team mate lets him down. Will improve I'm sure with more training.

Chicken legs alright. Noticed at Maroochy his calves are very skinny compared to the other players.

Great news and if he can get fit and plays a few games in back in of this year he will be regarded as the recruit of the year for next to nothing. Excited about HB, Jacko, Kossie, Rivers and Brown. Would be nearly our best recruiting year to date.

Congrats and well deserved. A loyal servant of the club and in past one of our best players.

Yesterday - Kossie did nearly all or if not most of the drills including match sim where he stuffed a few kicks. - Melk was running on other oval with Rehab guys. - Oscar did most of drills. -Not sure on Dunks. Didn't notice him. _ Hannan on other oval but did a few bits of training. Maybe a week or two away from full training?

Also mentioned to May that Brown is a good get as he can cover both back and forward. Response was. "He'll be forward". Backs in good shape. If the case then he will keep Weid honest. Brown did the match sim up forward and gave some options. He, Weid (if he can clunk some marks) and Mac with the others like Ftitter, Melk etc should at least see us improve up front.

Just home after spending night up at Coolum. Couple extra comments from those already posted. Jackson left training about 3/4 way trough with a slight limp. Did not look bad, Just that they have to go off with any minor issue. Tom Mac left on Saturday as wife had baby thus why he was not there yesterday Jetta reckons Kozzie will be a JET and fan fav when he plays first game but said he needs to keep a lid on him as he wants to go at a million miles an hour. Said both he and Jackson will be guns for us. Had about 15 minute chat to May. He also said Kozzie and Jackson will be guns and Rivers not far behind. Had a big session last Friday with full inter match practice and backs working well together. Squad in great shape and also mentioned that Tom Mac is up and about and was a handful on Friday. If anybody around Sunny Coast tomorrow they will be back at the ground at 7.30am for a full training session then flying home. Today is a rest day.

Just back from Maroochy and had a good chat to HB. Mentioned his calf is good and will get into full training in 2 weeks. Good news and lets all hope the next 2 weeks are injury free for him and he gets some training in. He's loving it at the Dees and hopeful of playing games this year. Looks in great shape.
