  1. Correct...lower your expectations. Am I happy about beating Hawthorn by 9 goals? Yes: are you kidding? Would I have taken a 9 goal win before the game? Stupid question.
  2. Agree. Terrible decision. But an inevitable one. If Bowey had been stretchered Chol would have got the same (tough little bugger, Bowey)...which of course highlights the nonsense of Gleeson's reasoning about taking 'reasonable' action. The AFL and its little world is awash with [censored]. But we knew that. In the meantime Jacob has 2 weeks off to work on his game. He'll be back!
  3. Yes, Robinson sports what is called an 'imperial'. Or is it merely a rancid remnant of his latest hamburger?
  4. Flogging a dead horse pal. Fritsch is a class forward who had a quiet match...but if he kicked as accurately as he usually does would still have kicked three. Can we move on?
  5. Yes it's weird. Was much better than Langdon on the weekend. Yet pilloried.
  6. Regarding the bizarre allegation that Oliver had played a few shockers this year. Just caught a bit of the Channel 9 Sunday show. Oliver is leading the polling. 'Shocking'. FFS.
  7. The voice of reason. Hallelujah.
  8. Yep. Fritsch out for Smith is a huge call. And a stupid one. Your most stupid onservation since you whinged about Sparrow's goal in the 3rd of the 21 GF and his long kick to Brown at the beginning of the 4th. They remain the silliest football remarks i have ever heard.
  9. Oliver had a 'FEW' 'SHOCKER' games this year. Could you name them please?
  10. He might have had enough by the end of the year. On the other hand...I hope there's enough in the kitty to induce him to stay on. An enormously beneficial (and cheering) presence.
  11. How long is this unique character signed up for? I like seeing him around the place. So do the players I suspect. Been invaluable.
  12. Have a look at his performance for Casey today. And think again.
  13. All very players. None of them forwards, unfortunately.
  14. Have another look
  15. Not sure that we're as talented as people assume. Take out Gawn Oliver and Petracca - great players - and we're nothing special. And clearly lack reliable forward firepower, apart from Fritsch. Can't see where its going to come from.
  16. worse than harsh
  17. Laurie has had 2 very big games in a row. Deserves his chance. He and Harmes should replace Spargo and Sparrow. Not sure how Schache gets in (assuming they pick BB), unless its for van R. McDonald will get another chance. Another one.
  18. Yes, Lyon's mentioning Sparrow in the same breath as Tim Watson (must be the no.32) after the 2021 GF is looking a bit silly. Hasn't come on. Pity, I like him! But it might be worth looking elsewhere. His form doesn't demand a game. We have too many B-graders, frankly.
  19. Several injured players thown in there.
  20. I think that's right. Look - the team is dominated by the big 3: Gawn, Oliver, Petracca. Fortunately the latter two are durable. Can you imagine the team without them? North Melbourne.
  21. Casey game tomorrow is important. If Harmes plays well, he is in. Laurie? Howes?
  22. Bored with this new signing saga. Club should get the deal done ASAP, so they can get on with being a better team.
  23. Google Trent Rivers+The West Australian. Should do the trick.
