Biggest problem for me...especially since we have lost so many games by slender margins...is that we have too many guaranteed non contributors. (Beginning with Sparrow)And you only need 2 or 3 of those. We regularly have 3 or 4. I don't include Oliver etc in that, despite his decline in output. (And yes, he is panicky. Can someone be trying too hard?) I also don't think we're likely to attract a top coach if we have a clean out of top end talent. So we need to be careful.

Have tried to resist the get rid of Goodwin thing. But like you I've had enough. Saw him on Footy Classified during the week and couldn't believe the spin, even from him. Some if it was just absurd. What struck me is how much he talked about himself, and how he loves the job, the challenge, blah blah blah. I think he thinks he owns the job. The team needs a refresh...urgently. Other than Pickett the team is as dull as dishwater. Like the coach. Sad but there you are.

Howes should be in the team. Best on ground last night and too good for the vfl. Culley was good too. Wouldn't be surprised if they slot him in for Sparrow.
