  1. I still cannot stand the AFL in how they handled the "drugs saga". Gill and the AFL just so protected Essendon from the correct penalty. Friends and family tell me to get over it but still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
  2. Billion dollar business for the AFL yet they cannot have decent sound systems in place to hear the actual questions being asked. Same goes for coach's interviews after matches. Quite bad really.
  3. Just loved the way Jack, with just a shake of the head, smile and STAND thinking I'll get that back. Other players, Jeelong spring to mind, would have seriously challenged the ump (and got away with it) and knowing our luck we would have a 50 mt applied against us. Just show's our team's mindset now.
  4. Can someone please clarify for me the ticketing for the GWS match. I have not received an email from either the MCC or AFL stating that this match is full ticketed (especially the MCC reserve). It is a major pain in the a$$ ( nigh on impossible) to get tickets WHERE YOU WANT TO SIT. The last two matches have us in #39 so we are just about side on to the city end goals. At this point we are just going to walk up on the night. Would really appreciate if anyone could advise.
  5. Bugger off. I GOT THE EMAIL FIRST. Haha
  6. Richmond home game. Their fans will make so much noise to ensure it happens.
  7. Your right now as we are the flavour of the month but previously when we were on 503 we had the Fox crew. Having said that I have noticed BT seems to have toned it down a bit this year Might be my selective hearing.
  8. Ch 7 for you. Follow the narrative.
  9. Impossible. Ch 7 tell's the AFL what is going on. Been happening since they started paying billions. Ch 7 control the narrative.
  10. Played their "grand final" last week it would appear.
  11. Who in their right mind, if watching Fox would turn to Ch 7 to watch the match. After a goal ADS ADS ADS whereas you get to see more celebrations, more commentary and speaking of which Fox's commentary is street's ahead of Ch 7's UNLESS of course they take direct feed from 7. UGH.
  12. I so hope the club makes discrete enquiries with the relevant person in the umpiring dept. This has gone on far too long and must really frustrate the big man and teammates as well as us in the stands. Wednesday night was just over the top.
  13. I have a place just outside of Korat. I can just feel the heat under the car port.
  14. Fortunate to have good teeth (as apposed to my picture) and when catching up with friends my smile says it all even if I accentuate it just that bit longer. My message is received loud & clear.
  15. 7:10 as they felt guilty kids had to go to school the next day. Saw a lot of families leave at half time. At least they got to see the unfurling of the flag. Those kids who saw it will brag for a while.
  16. I would have kicked them out of the AFL. Still laugh at their motto for that year. " What ever it takes" One of my nephews gave up following them.
  17. Geelong - my 2nd most hated team. NON STANDARD AFL GROUND AND ENTITLED FANS. AFL always makes us play there. Essendon - my most hated team. DRUGS. Gee Malthouse. Great call for premiers. Finger on the Netflix button already.
  18. His shorts look like a netball skirt. (no offence ladies).
  19. Watching the replay now and cannot get over the channel 7 commentators. Taylor seems to have changed his method of calling with Angus's uncle doing most of the commentary. Bradshaw gets excited but generally not too bad. Mind you he has credits in the bank with "bang bang bang BANG". Daisy seems to be making more insightful comments as well. Would not surprise me that the "higher ups" at 7 have had a word to actually call the game rather than waffle on (Taylor) about the past which is just not so relevant now. Pleasantly surprised. Earlier on Foxtel they had Richmond V Carlton from the 80's and the commentary was brilliant. Close your eyes and you knew where the ball was on the ground.
  20. Lack of strong umpiring helped a lot. Throw it to me, throw it to me.
  21. My neighbour walked in holding a newspaper clipping yesterday ,covered by a tissue so his hands didn't touch it, saying he was going to trash it but reluctantly thought of me. Already up on the window for him to see. FILTH SUPPORTER. He is so not looking forward to this season.
  22. A good lot of our supporters would also not know what it means. After Wednesday I hope we all get used to that word in the future.
