  1. I get the impression that he was winding you up.
  2. Many of us related to the guy in the stand. He has been spoken of so often. So clearly a Dee supporter and I have wondered if he lives there or was able to travel. Brilliant image for OUR club.
  3. Bugger. You beat me to it. I think I will wait till everything calms down. My facebook photo has me with the '64 cup so will wait till the 50+ years function on later in the year. Great photo though 640MD. See you in Jan.
  4. Really happy for Jake. I have known him from him playing golf at Brighton Golf Club for the last couple of years. Haven't seen him since but would love to catch up for a chat. Not sure if he knows I follow the Dee's. He will be left in no doubt when I see him.
  5. Daughter must be used to it. She is hanging on really tight. Haha
  6. I'll have a Range Rover thanks. Already have the stickers for it. Unfortunately it won't stand out where I live. Dime a dozen.
  7. I assume (hope) the Demon shop will be open prior but will also assume (hope) they will have various outlets open outside entrances 2&3 to save the trip onto the other side of the ground. Does anyone know???

Careful now. They could be related to the British Royal Family.

I can relate to your story as I lived in Frankfurt and we often used to bomb down in the VW to Heidelberg (University Town) and got massacred in various "beer halls". Not sure I would have the stamina now. Great memories.

A brilliant "party town". Pub/club scene was second to none and I'm talking back in the 70's.
  11. Always liked him but my respect now is huge. Very funny man. Would love to have a drink with him and listen to his stories. When he retires he could really drop some dirt on many AFL directives he has had to endure.
  12. He ran out of space.
  13. Herald Sun & Channel 7 are bed mates.
  14. Have the HUN's premiers sticker on the SUV but I have carefully cut off all reference of the HUN. Haha. A car had a brilliant sticker on High Street so will hunt that one down and ditch the HUN one. When our beloved leader allows shops to open I shall get to the MCG Demon shop and buy up. Prefer the club to get my money.
  15. No. BT should be made to do it as payback for all the crap he has laid on us over the years.
  16. I think you will find umpire #8 involved in all. Will stand to be corrected. I always feel nervous when he officiates.
  17. Was at Cosco's yesterday and they are selling cheeseboards. I did resist. Alright. I already have one.
  18. Can you please explain Mordor? Haven't heard it before.
  19. I think (hope) it will take a couple of seasons for his benefits to come thru.
  20. And many more to come Deeoldfart. Like you, I have experienced the joys of the 50's & 60's and have weathered the storm since then, but looking forward to see what this team can produce. I, and a lot of people are going to enjoy the ride.
  21. There was clearly a second push whereas BBB's mark from Trac in the third, his hands touched the defenders back but there was no push. Someome on here days ago thought it was a free against BBB.
  22. Blicsavs, Rohan, Duncan & Menagola will be in their prime (by Geelong standards) with Stewart & Cameron joining the OAP's a year later. They are gone. AFL need to have some of the bigger clubs play down at "Kitty Litter" ground and by beating Geelong down there their home ground advantage in their heads will go. Down the cliff they go.
  23. It was the one on her left you should be worried about. Need to see the replay to know who I am referring to.
  24. Oh the memories.
