Was wearing my Dee's premiership shirt today (big lunch today with family of Hawks) and stopped at Chemist Warehouse in Malvern. A older lady complimented me on the shirt, and yes, was a very keen Melbourne supporter/MCC member but has never had an MFC club membership. I encouraged her to join but she is not the first I have met in this situation. MCC should be asked for their membership lists of Melbourne supporters, match up with MFC members and attack/encourage those who have not joined. Maybe privacy problems but give it a go.

Missed a lot of game/comments but can someone please tell me how many goals the "brown paper baggers" kicked from 50mt frees given by the ump's by their MIS-INTERPRETATION" of an interpretation. I shudder to think what new interpretations the AFL may try to sneak in with one coaching brother talking to AFL brother.

Been there since the Norm Smith days. I have a very strong heart and constitution to have coped with some of the those years. To some degree 2018 and most certainly 2021 have just about wiped away all memories of the horror years.

Ran into a man who I haven't seen for over a year (covid) who follows Geelong. Although pleased for me with Melbourne's premiership win, was absolutely condescending regarding OUR win and OUR football club. Did my best to hold it together. His only comment that put a smile on my dial was that he is concerned that we will be so strong for the next 5-7 years reaping more premierships. This is one of the reasons why I hate Geelong so much as his comments are typical of so many Geelong supporters I know. I remember when they were just a nice country club that everyone liked and was in awe of the likes of Polly and Billy. Personally knew Bob Davis and a nicer man didn't exist. All those good memories gone with the manner in how they play now (oiled up arms so tackles slide up, deliberate ducking and "bitching" to umpires when things go against them) and their supporters JUST SO ENTILITED. This piece by purple on Scott just leaves me so angry. The best comment I heard after the grannie was from our captain. When asked what was his best moment of the 2021 season he replied "beating Geelong THREE times". Gotta love that man.

Don't think so as those who selected the payment plan the final payment goes thru on 18th Feb. That was my understanding when I spoke to the club late last year. Anyone else able to confirm?

Could be a large increase when the final payment of the MCC goes thru for those who have selected MCC/MFC memberships. Was told a year or so back that the last payment triggers numbers/payments to MFC. Someone may be able to confirm this.

I love the fact that Daisy keeps trying to bring him conversant with the current game ( on air) but alas falls on deaf ears.
