  1. This numskull just defies logic. Ordinary player and even a worst commentator.
  2. Two words. 1. Sydney. 2. Theatre. The nuff nuffs in Sydney call the shots.
  3. Hah. Just wait till they find out the pay for the Daicos boys moving forward. That will blow their theory of equal pay out of the water.
  4. It's their constant "booing" just about for anything that drives me mad. Father was from Perth and I lived there for a while and generally the hatred of the "East" - especially Melbourne, because of the footy is palpable. If you don't talk footy their not too bad one on one BUT get into a group and forget it.
  5. Of course he's right - that is if the ball was kicked from the crowd it's over the line. "Blind Freddie" can see it never made the line. Yet again Channel 7 create muddy waters with bad shots of the goal square. And can someone keep that person seated in front of the camera. They did the same when Buddie kicked his goal last year.
  6. Are their decisions made in Sydney JUST LIKE CHANNEL 7? They have no "flipping idea" up North about our game. I so hope before I die that they get rid of Brian Taylor. I just cannot cope with him. After his comments Thursday regarding the Woods being 30+ points behind and 40 seconds to go, asking can they still win, just sums this [censored] up. Daisy's comment just cleaned him up. "I'm sure they will try". Then the worst part was Dewayne's comment on SEN yesterday trying to justify his question saying the pressure on him was from Channel 7 to try and "keep the positives going". AND THERE WE ARE FOLKS.
  7. Oh to be on the Box Hill/ Lilydale train right now. Wet and angry they be. So made my day this result. Vodka/RedBull also helped.
  8. This is how banners were made back in the 60's before advertising wrecked them being put up. On the positive side we didn't have to lug wet dirty banners home. Moved to spray painting them using reverse cycle with a vacuum but left the banner message on a neighbours footpath. Such memories.
  9. Now I have heard it all. Cannot stand the tripe that comes out of her mouth, BUT maybe I will turn a blind eye to her current comment. Her hatred of the Dee's is so well known. Really must have hurt her to make this assessment of 2023.
  10. Absolutely not Collingwood. If Freo make it we can get better seats rather than battle the "filth" supporters.
  11. I sat by the old race drenched (by rain and tears). Still angry with the result and now channel that anger towards the filth till the day I die.
  12. They really are quite clueless. Mind you. Talk to them and you might just educate them. NOT.
  13. Eddie buggered that one up by demanding the woods get a home game. The AFL in their wisdom bent over for Eddie (surprise surprise) and started the very next year which was an away game for us on Anzac Eve and so it continues. Of course if the AFL were real we could, just could get home games against Geelong, Carlton and "the druggies" to compensate us. This is slowly happening. At one stage Melbourne had one home game against "the druggies" in nearly 12 matches/and or years I think. Also, when was the last time we played West Coast over here?
  14. For goodness sake they were not the the first. Richmond were. Why is that not so hard to establish.
  15. "Poo & wee's" supporters. What do you expect. Arrogant nuff nuff's. Mind you I have heard Dee supporters in the MCC giving their supports grief. SO LONG MAY THAT CONTINUE. (Not shouting - maybe Haha)
  16. A friend of mine always sat behind the bench as she was addicted to the smell of liniment. At least that was what she always told us. Looking at you Jan.
  17. I used to be CFO of Chobani until I retired 9 years ago and of course only eat Chobani or Gippsland Dairy (who they bought out). I shall certainly give it a go as I do like my yogurt.
  18. I drive all around Melbourne everyday and without a doubt our Melbourne stickers are seen more than any other team. From the little stickers to "Member (insert year) to Premiership stickers. Rodney I see quite a few tradies utes and they mainly have tiger stickers especially out Ringwood way. Possibly the next largest amount of stickers seen would be St Kilda but most are quite old. Memo to MFC. Why does the "Red" on our stickers seem to fade yet St Kilda's keeps it's brightness.
  19. Dad's side of the family all from Galway in the west of Ireland..
  20. I was there the day the "chippy" caught fire. Pity it didn't spread to the rest of their stands without Melbourne supporters sitting in them of course.
  21. Mine is too easy. Just my initials and the last time we beat "the filth" in a grand final. Still etched in my mind.
  22. That would be right. News comes/vetted from Sydney. What would they know. At least they spelt his name right.
