  1. Melbourne have a history of very few players reaching 250/300 milestone (Neitz, Flower etc) and on his way - Nate Dog. Active Players # Player Games 1 Nathan Jones 223 2 Lynden Dunn 165 3 Colin Garland 141 4 Jack Watts 137 5 Tom McDonald 104 6 Jack Grimes 100 7 Neville Jetta 94 8 Jack Trengove 84 9 Jack Viney 70 10 Bernie Vince 64 Brief unscientific analysis of who what the list looks like after relevant exits stage left at the end of the season (yep Dunn, Grimes is in from the Demonwiki page), I'll also remove Vince Active Players # Player Games 1 Nathan Jones 223 4 Jack Watts 137 5 Tom McDonald 104 7 Neville Jetta 94 9 Jack Viney 70 What I would give for the core of this group 19-21yo's to get to 200 games together... with the others thrown in for good measure. A la Sydney, Geelong, Hawthorn for consistency.
  2. I believe Robbie was October...
  3. J.Howe was one of those... never a match winner - Hunty is well on the way to that.
  4. 3196 of the current membership base of Demonland were on here...that's [censored] immense - 3 days after a Sydney game, 4 days before a Hawthorn game...so you can see why I'd be curious.
  5. What was happening here, at that specific time?
  6. Pitched battles in the family home with the geelong supporter wife mate... its been a war of attrition.
  7. I signed my 15month old up last week -the question I pose to you is , am I a [censored] of a father, or will I be teaching him some inherent valuable life lesson in resilience?
  8. Really appreciate the stats on this - demon land knowledge is awesome. Thanks for the reality slap - you're right @A F - if I'm feeling he's inconsistent - it will be a sight to behold in the future.
  9. Surely Ruggles is the anglicised version...?
  10. Wow, stats really bring things into perspective!
  11. I wonder about Petracca's capacity for consistency. Can do the sublime, really sketchy in front of goal, and goes missing...wanting peoples thoughts on this, is there any other player you'd liken him to that he could become..
  12. Dissapointing as clearly we could have won. Tired and put the cue in the rack in the final 20, sure I can wear that, considering where we have been the last decade. I am super super impressed with our midfield, and super super content with where we are headed, considering the 3/4 effort and the intent and energy we displayed. We will be a juggernaut.
  13. Tv commentary is puerile. Bruce reminds me of my childhood in the 80's and most things back then were [censored]... cheezles included. Bruce, you are cheezles.
  14. I hear he has a nice couch...and heaps of coke.
  15. unless its set up for a defeat from the jaws of victory...
  16. oh, you don't need footage of Buckley confidently gulping water in the coaches box...
  17. is 'incorrect disposal' an archaic term from the 80's?
  18. Whats with BT talking about good kicks for goal "he missed, but it shouldn't be seen as a bad kick" all of a sudden...it'll go down as a point in all future literature pal...
  19. most of all - I like the last half a second of content...
  20. Fan's are fickle - He hasn't said anything controversial at all, its not about him - its about the media departments response in what they curate (naturally accentuating the positives). It then got me thinking about whether MFC would even want his calibre...
  21. Panic stations from Fremantle Football Club Media via their twitter feed - just to quell the sick taste in their mouth that is bubbling. "Fyfe: I see my future at Freo and have said I'd always wait until a particular time to discuss contracts, wins and losses won't impact that" In all seriousness, I don't know that he suits our organisation... and we certainly shouldn't sell the farm...
  22. @Wolfmother glad you had a chuckle pal
