I'd be trying to get Queens Birthday at Adelaide Oval - both from a financial sense but also given we played ordinary there last time and have Port back there on the run home it'd be good to get another run on that deck. I'd then be trying to push the Hawks game to Alice later in the season. Hawks are rubbish and their fans aren't turning up so the gate take will be ordinary anyway. The other reason for the Hawks game and not GWS is that I'd rather play Gold Coast on the back of Alice than Port at Port. If we can't move that game then so be it. Keep winning games and the $$$ will look after itself

Exactly. You're hardly going to pick up a Steve Silvagni in the mid-season draft. Brutal reality is if these guys were 'that good they'd have already been on an AFL list. They come to the club as the 37th & 38th player on the list and now have to work their backsides off. The list is in good shape, the coaching brigade and development brigade is as good as its ever been and the club is up & about. Let's back them in.

Wce accurate kicking probably made it look like they were going better than they were. They lost Kelly early in the 2nd and Allen after half time. One less rotation for a half of footy they just looked gassed

In under 14s we once bowled a team out for 20. We reversed the batting order to give some other guys a go. We were 6/14 before the 'top 4' had to get the job done. Moral of the story - don't [censored] with what works

To date I think this year's VFL form line is a false economy. There are division 2 amateur sides that would beat 2 of the teams Casey have played this year. Weid has been doing what he should be doing given what he's been up against but AFL is different gravy.
