Any combination of: 1. Walk Goodwin 2. Walk Mahoney 3. Major changes at selection. Ie Viney out, Jones out (for good) 4. No more social media - this isn't directed at our marketing team, they have a harder job than Dan Andrews at the moment but we dont need to see fluff pieces, back from hell, behind the scenes BS! It just creates hope which we know will come crashing down 5. Send the wives and girlfriends back to Melbourne (unfair collateral damage I know but I'm bloody livid) 6. Recruit players & staff that know what hard work and success looks like (this one is obviously off season). We should be pillaging Hawthorn. We have a big enough fan base that our club could be anything. We outnumbered Geelong and Hawthorn in those finals in 2018. Those numbers don't convert to memberships because [censored] like this happens far too often. In Bartletts own words he said he wanted us to be like the New York Yankees. Well its time for action as the Yankees wouldn't stand for this crap!

We lost 10,000 2021 members last night. Drastic changes need to happen now, not off season, NOW! This weak crap has been happening for too bloody long and its the whole 'ahhh typical Melbourne'. If Barlett and Pert are going to put actions to their words it has to happen NOW!

This is Jones farewell game

Thank christ Vanders is finally out of the side! This whole tough guy Demonland myth that he makes opponent's look over their shoulder - when in reality Mihocek probably didn't know his name until he read it on the bottom of the card.

I don't see him leaving Geelong but I'd love to get Tom Hawkins in a similar deal that we offered Daniel Cross as a transition into coaching. Our young key forwards dont have anyone good and senior to learn off. Hawkins comes across as pretty intelligent in interviews. Also a very good shot for goal so a position of forward/goal kicking coach would fill a position that needs attention.

Important for us to keep winning and try to finish as high as possible (likely 6th or 7th). By finishing 8th, as it stands we'll cop WCE - possibly in Perth?...and we know how well that ended up last time. Finishing 6th or 7th and playing who that does looks a lot softer than finishing 8th and getting the worst of either Richmond/Geelong/Brisbane/WCE.

Apologies. Google only went to 1 decimal place on his height - that being said the point still stands. May is versatile enough to take him, beat him and still set us up going forward. I remember Dustin Fletcher back in the day would play on talls & smalls - no reason May couldn't do the same.
-
When we were going alright in 2018 he did. Can't recall too much success of him doing it since
-
Harmes to play as a defensive forward and shut down Lloyd?
-
Why not May? In great form, he's quick and can play small. That said May isn't that tall (only 190cm)
-
Forward pressure looks very light on this week
-
I thought ANB still had another week. My bad!

Out: O.Mcdonald (omitted), Van denBerg (omitted), Jones (omitted), Hibberd (injured) In: Fritsch (dominated scratch match & best 22), Lockhart (probably gets first crack at Papley), Baker (rewarding form & offers pace), Harmes (To play defensive forward on Lloyd). I'm not usually a fan of bringing back someone who's been dropped due to form & not play because they're the carry over emergency - however the cupboard is pretty bare. Would love to be in a position to be resting a couple the following week

Thankfully Steele was next to him

We've only beaten Sydney 4 times in our last 20 games against them

Currently watching the replay (qtr time). It didn't look good in the first 5 mins. Butler & Hill finding space and Membrey getting off the leash. 2 elements of fortune in Petracca's 2 goals. The actual infringement for the free kick was about 55m out but the umpire had the guy on the mark at 51m. The holding the ball against Zac Jones that led to Petracca's second goal was pretty stiff. It's was nice to be able to capitalize on a bit of good fortune

From 'Red Mist' to tempo footy. Who would have thought?
-
Dare I say our plan might be to negate their speed by playing keepings off ala Geelong style? Hopefully we aren't going to take them on head to head in speed and outside run. Rivers, Wagner & Mcdonald are all relatively reliable kicks (within their limitations) - as well as having Salem & May back there so perhaps we'll try and use short sharp ball movement. Obviously the fear of this is going to be the inevitable turnovers which will kill us.
-
How do you rock up late to training and your housemate turns up on time? Especially given they cant do all that much in 'hub-land' anyway.
-
Would be perfect for our forward line then
-
Don't we have enough crap players?
-
The pressure in the last 10 mins was red hot. We would have gone to [censored]
-
Brissy should be 10 goals up.
-
We got taught a lesson in the midfield. What's worse is that the same thing would have happened if we had Gawn

Can we start calling Lever out now
