  1. Yeah that's cool. Just mix it up man, bit of this bit of that, as long as it's tied together through some sort of link it'll rock. And yeah, any time you can dull the music to include the commentary just can really put the icing on it

Nah, was like round 17 in 2003 i'm pretty sure. Was a joke. Don't really agree with the sentiments about Lloyd, i dont see him as a [censored], certainly no more than any other Essendon player, and at least he seems like a nice guy away from the field
  3. Hope you had a good one. Well ultimately it'swhat you want to achieve. But i think making a video must have a theme. Such as inspirational skipper or something like that, you spell that out during the video so people feel connected to the vision they see. Goals don't have to be all they see, bumps etc. also, but if you show goals, go for the big key goals. The record breaking goal vs hawks, one against the kangas when he kicked 8 etc. Toughmoments in games where you can say, our captain david neitz did this you know. I dunno what the go is with framerate, but using effects like fades and script at different stages definitely adds to the effect. Youve got some good footage, but i guess watching a lot of set shots might not really get the spine tingling you know. Can even use footage of just him celebrating
  4. I'm impressed he was able to find the range of material. Didn't you just turn 16 dude? Is this one of your first goes? Very good start i think. Maybe google for video makers if you want more help with it, i've tried to make compilation videos before but failed miserably, half because of no software, half because i was rubbish. The slow version of the Melbourne theme song would go great with our great skipper
  5. Wow, cool story Hansel, thanks for coming and putting your input into this. Fascinating insight. Make one yourself so we can mispell a tirade against your own version
  6. I'd like to see In: Rivers Out: Jamar Whilst i'd like to see more changes, i would also like to see what this team can do on home turf against the Hawks and how they can back it up. If Rivers isn't ready, i'd go with CJ or Wheels just because i still think Wheels is our best small defender
  7. A little off topic, but does anybody know if someone can change numbers during the season? Just out of interest
  8. That'd be cheeky of Paul to be given the great Jim Stynes' number, only to then ask for the great David Neitz's number!
  9. I'm betting you don't have your name posted across public forums, copping vitriol from people who don't name themselves. Being held accountable for being a footballer is one thing, the over the top bashing that goes on is the problem at heart here
  10. Talk in pubs does not become concreted into words on a public forum. I wouldn't appreciate demonstrative comments about my working capabilities in a public forum
  11. Yeah it's a tough situation. I'm not against Robinson writing it though, as it most likely is an issue for many footballers who have a lot of time on their hands and probably do check the boards seeking "feedback." I think this forum, without doing much searching around others it must be said, is one of the better ones as some other forums i've seen have no structure, and seem overly critical all the time.
  12. I'd say our core supporter group of around 16 thousand that i'd wage go to pretty much every game would make the trip to Cranbourne, let alone any new supporters we get.
  13. How in the WOOOOOOOOOOOORLD is PJ vulnerable this week? Glad that Jamar's 1 handball and 5 frees against warrants him a guaranteed spot though
  14. With the growth in the area, and its apparent propensity to help the Melbourne Football Club (a desire of the AFL), it might not be so unrealistic to see us playing games against interstate teams there in the future. I think it's too far out now to speculate, but i wouldn't rule it out as an option
  15. How can anyone know what anyone is on?
  16. Don't get me wrong, i completely understand the reasons behind it, just thought i'd have my part in what i feel would need to be (and doubtless would be) improved.
  17. My mate reckoned he spent about 40 minutes in traffic trying to get to the ground when he was on the main road, so i dunno what the go with that was, but that doesn't sound great. Getting through the crowd from the entrance was also pretty hard, with only one gate at either side of the main stand. But i liked it in general
  18. I think DJ was referring to who gets the members' email, which even then isn't necesarily true but i think was more of a bit of fun
  19. Yes, yes, Queen's Birthday montage rah rah. Better it then, i'll happily watch it
  20. His video, his decisions. Good on ya for the effort mate! If you don't like it, make your own. The more videos the merrier
  21. I hardly see how in 2001 we were supposed to stop and say, "oh in 7 years simmonds will be better than white"
  22. He's been great since retiring in 99, good call
  23. Id contest that Jamar never had control of the ball and therefore was not in posession of the ball, meaning he did not grab it out of the ruck. As for the "tackle" on him, that's another story
