CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
you don't get ticks for playing them. playing well yeah, but not getting games.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
was Hibberd that bad ? he was getting the ball, running aggresively then kicking into a forward line outnumbered and was made to look like thats his bad kicking.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
yep I thought that should happen before round 1 given 2019. but we looked insipid.

what was it before round 1 then ?

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
how about we see how he goes in a match first before he replaces a proven player who was all australian in recent years.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
correct. he has been in the position a few times and then broken down. Its whether those calves can take it over a period. and often players come back and do other 'compensatory' injuries like hamstrings which they always say are unrelated, but in effect are a secondary effect. we can only wait and see if he can string a number of games together, at any level.

TRAINING: 2 Weeks to Go
agreed. They need him to get his hands on it more and gain confidence. As a roaming ruck he is able to build up possessions and can read the game well in genral play but up forward is slow to react. Darcy Moore looked pathetic up forward at times but now down back looks great. It couldn't hurt to play him down back.

Dees vs Hawks: Who’s Closer to a Flag
disagree. they're list isn't made up of nobodies or just young talent. they have plenty of left over premiership players and have brought in some very experienced players. they look about a mid table side. 3rd oldest side in the league should not be down the bottom..

Jon Anderson's Best 22 Since 1970
Brownlow mediallist and game breaker versus a bloke with a lot of junk time goals.

Positive Trade Out (Non Regrettable)
very much so. Pederson strarted slowly, his first match for us marred by the panic mark whilst ducking his head. then went onto become a handy forward and what I thought was a very handy running ruckman when Maxy went down.

Positive Trade Out (Non Regrettable)
I thought the Ingerson trade was a steal back in the day. The player we lost was a draftee in Paul Rouvray who didn't play a game. the following best explains it. Ingerson's trade in exchange for National Draft selection #27 was part of the complicated deal that sent Paul Salmon to Hawthorn and Darren Jarman to the Crows. Adelaide player - and former Melbourne draftee Paul Rouvray - was on his way to Sydney as part of the deal before deciding he wanted to play for the Demons. The Ingerson trade convinced Melbourne to pull out of the running for Rouvray, who went to the Swans and never played a game. Essendon believed they had an in-principle agreement with Adelaide to trade for Ingerson, but he thought he'd get more opportunity at Melbourne.

Ed Langdon Adapts
hes just what we need. got off to a good start but yeah his kicking skills could improve. sometime its just choosing the wrong option makes people think you can't kick straight. hopefully that improves because he's a running machine with plenty of pace.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
ummmm this post just fuels the doubt people have on your info. You post one message, saying Hogan wants to come back, that your source is Connolly, then people start asking questions then you want to smoke bomb it straight out of here. This has troll written all over it. Everyone knows you can just cancel it yourself.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
100 % agree with this. and sums up my feelings. They treated us like second grade sparring partners, flicking the ball around easily and having a laugh. I felt ashamed and turned it off as well. not having the structures to stop easy backline exits was laughable after a whole pre-season and a near full list. Laughable. I agree. something has to change.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Omac was terrible when linking up. absolutely destroyed our momentum at times and confidence. that 15 metre handball to 2 free demons players along the boundary summed him up. he couldnt even hit that target. He fumbled and missed kicks. he was awful and reflected why we got beaten badly. no way on earth he was near our best.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
"I will line up Goodwin though. His setup and lack of pressure on Eagles ball carriers is a structural issue he has implemented and it absolutely stinks. The allowance of opposition sides to simply kick to unmarked players is alarming and unforgivable" this is the unforgiveable part for me also. when the opposition move the ball it should be under great pressure at leat by the idr kick. to oftne it was not.

OPPOSITION WATCH: Rd 1 vs West Coast
I wouldn’t be surprised if they thrashed us either.

TEAMS: MS02 vs Hawthorn
no. Omac is not. sorry but I just don't see in him. I know he's young but he's not a rookie anymore. he's reactive and if he does get it hes very slow.

TEAMS: MS02 vs Hawthorn
big game for Weideman, who never seems to be a consistent showing week to week. I must say Omac seems to play way more games then what he offers. even with May and Lever in he's selected.

POSTGAME: MS01 vs Adelaide
Half our goals came from midfielders but Tmac kicked 3 brown kicked 3. Melksham we just need to get match fit, we know what he can do as an elite half forward. And didn’t weid get 19 possessions and 19 hit outs?

POSTGAME: MS01 vs Adelaide
I’m surprised. To me hunt and Spargo are quite opposite. Spargo is a good ball user normally, reads the play well, and is a good footballer without the athletic abilities that AFL level demands. Hunt is a good mark, pace to burn, worst handballer in the side, poor field kick but decent kick for goal. For skills Spargo is miles ahead.

Dees 2020: The Good, Bad & Ugly
Disagree, I think thomlinson is a natural winger, he is not a key tall but plays more like a midfielder. Yes he isn’t quick but more an elite runner who will link and run out games well.

TRAINING: Wednesday 22nd January 2020
Makes sense. We are not a strong marking side. In 2018 we were great at bringing the ball to ground which was the formula in the forwardline. Melksham is the best at this. But still not strong at marking the pill like a west coast.

TRAINING: Wednesday 22nd January 2020
Photos don’t tell everything but he didn’t look super fit last November. And you can’t carry blokes who aren’t fit now.

TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2020
No not perfect as opponent got the ball away to his teammate running into goal!! Need to pin those arms.
