  1. Totally agree. The club is under huge pressure to get this RIGHT. This draft I think is the MFC's most important to date. But having said that, I believe we are in good hands.
  2. Feel free! I'd be offended if you didn't.
  3. This whole saga is GOLD! While we are not squeaky clean @ MFC, I'm going to be dining out on this for a while. Seems ironic though. Normally you get fans trying to emulate their heroes. Now we've got filth players emulating their fans.
  4. Have not been a Sylvia fan. But I thought I saw his best game for MFC today.
  5. Same here mate. 39, and 87' was a gem of a season. Absolutely loved that era!
  6. Wow......And I thought we bottomed out several weeks ago. Apparrently we have a way to go yet!
  7. Yes, he certainly did. Thats why Joe Gutnick got rid of him. For all his faults, Joe certainly knew a f**k up when he saw one. And yes he had another one at Freo in his first or second year as well.
  8. Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho ......... even funnier
  9. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha......... that funny!
  10. Yeah youre right, its not a spear tackle, its more like when you run into a railing fence around a ground. Or that guy who hit the horse in the gymnastics at the olympics all those years ago.
  11. I think a few of you are missing the best positive to come out of the game yesterday. Did anyone notice how hard guys were working when they didn't have the ball? I did. And it blew me away. These kids have really got some ticker. Yeah they butchered the ball by hand and foot. But there was a reason why the Bullies didn't blow us right out of water like they did in Rd. 2. It's because those kids wouldn't lie down. There skill level WILL improve. Look out when it does
  12. Totally agree. He was good yesterday. Even drilled a guy from 40m. So kicking has improved.
  13. Yep, made it to the game. Took my old man to see TD, for the first time. He was totally blown away. He still remembers standing on the outer at the Western oval. So do I. Especially back in 87. He still can't work out how I turned into a Dees supporter. Tried taking the [censored] out of me saying all the Dees supporters were at the snow which explained the poor crowd. I then asked if all the Bulldogs people couldn't make bail. Did anyone see Juice Newton and DB pointing thier fingers at each other at 3/4 time. What was that about? Thought Juice had a bit of a go. Chased a fair bit. Good enough for another game at least.
  14. You're a spanner! Besides. Sylvia was worst on ground anyway.
  15. I think our recent attempt's at drafting KPP's over recent years has been ordinary at best. Which is why I'd like to see us take Rich. I think we also need an elite mid fielder to compliment McLean, Morton, Jones etc.
  16. Yes' he has gone backwards this season. But dont write him off just yet. He is down on confidence, and once he gets it back, watch out !
  17. 1. Wheaters 2. P.J. 3. Garland 4. Warnock
  18. Just heard a rumor. Jace Bode farted in public during the break and was suspended by the leadership group for 1 match. What a f*****g joke! <_<
  19. You suck! If you need reminding, we are not Carlton! We are the Melbourne Demons.
  20. Saw the one in the last 1/4. I did cringe. But I took a different view of it. Perhaps players are second guessing themselves in situations like these due to the AFL's tough and incosistent stance on head high contact. Dunno. Hope so for Dunny's sake.
  21. With all these 'blockbuster games' the filth are forced to play. Somethings got me confused. Are 'blockbuster games' worth 8 points or something?
  22. Yeah, heard that as well. Had to laugh when I heard that fine upstanding pillar of the community in John Elliot come out and say it was 'tall poppy syndrome', and what a great bloke he is. Can't wait till Rodney Adler, Allan Bond, Steve Vizard and Glenn Wheatley come out in support for thier victimised mate.
