  1. Definitely agree with all u say, much prefer to be on the right side of a 60 point result whenever. Nevertheless, nauseating that so many supporters and press have us 'premiers' after two JLT games. Future is bright but our last competitive game was a 20 goal loss.
  2. Despite missing some senior players,as are StKilda,Carlton's performance today puts our effort last week into stark perspective. They are a rabble. We have got way ahead of ourselves after a narrow win against an underdone and undermanned Bulldogs and the wooden spoon favourites. Some supporters never learn. We are very much odds against in round one at Etihad.
  3. When have Richmond stated this?
  4. Share Punt Rd. Great facility.Great access. Carpet surface. No brainer.
  5. Whilst Grimes, Dunn, Terlich, Michie, Jones, Newton and Dawes were not particularly up to AFL standard in the end, they were significant contributors in a strong Casey outfit. Added to that, given there is a chance that Smith and/or Keilty might get some senior action, it is a group that is hard to replace. McInerney further weakens the equation. Whilst positive for the Demons, the jury is out on Filopovic, Hannan, Johnstone and, to some extent McKenna. Don't get me wrong. I think the club has done a magnificent job with the comings and goings - wouldn't have kept one Casey delist. Good outcome for Melbourne, not so good for the Scorpions.
  6. If anyone runs to support this recalcitrant on this forum I will seriously 'throw up!
  7. Bulldogs victory must help Casey. They will need to leave 3 or 4 out for the big one including Minson. Go Scorps!
  8. Is Oliver in trouble for the long tackle?
  9. Well spoken. Anyone who has a contrary view is a fool. The only reason we follow this farcical league is our tribal ties.GWS is an abomination. Footy May be the best game in the world, however, the AFL is by far the worst competition.
  10. My understanding is that regardless of todays result Casey will finish top two as Williamstown has the bye. Pardon my ignorance but will there be a final for Casey next week and, if so, at North Port Oval? Also, with Travis Cloke getting a farewell game with the Pies this weekend I believe he is ineligible for VFL finals? Good news for us if correct!
  11. Don't always agree with Roos but his presser was spot on. Carlton have numerous big bodied, mature and experienced players,we do not. Extremely young teams are inconsistent whilst the Blues older players can lead the way on a given day.Not happy tonight but our future is brighter. There will more bad performances to come, however, outweighed by the good.
  12. We are screaming out for bona fide mature leaders. Jones is good,Vince disappoints too often and that's it! Carlton aren't great but have older players who can get the job done on days like this.
  13. Do we really want to make finals? Obviously would be good but not sure that the group is ready and it is likely to mean a much tougher draw.
  14. Am I the only one concerned about Weideman?
  15. I have no idea why we play at this ground. Awful
