Still no Brayshaw.

Lewis contract heavily front ended. Has paid dividends already. Jordie McKenzie was on bigger coin in the last year of his final contract than Jordan will be..If he plays one game bin 2019 it will be a bonus.Club fully aware of this. Even as an assistant coach he'll be on roughly the same as Ben Matthews.Plenty of salary cap room for young bucks. This discussion is just about the biggest non issue of the millennium.

Jackson Trengove for me. Much cheaper, restricted free agent and can play defence, forward and ruck. Proven.
-
Really boring.?
-
Adam Treloar on the radio earlier commenting how yesterday's game was the fastest in which he's ever been involved. Apparently Pendlebury and other senior players concurred. All running measures were off the charts.Given this, a 6 v 10 day break and the doggies desperate on their home ground I fear our first touch up of the season. With three six day breaks ahead I think we need to make three or four changes each week as a rotation policy and bring in fresh(er) bodies to be any chance e JKH,Stretch,Gawn etc. If not I think we're in strife.

Um, Boyd,Wood,Morris to name just three and the Bulldogs flag was a one in a hundred year event. Betting u didn't even go to the game today young Rono. A recalcitrant from the old Demonology days.Difference now is that dementia is an added ingredient. If what u got out of today's stirring victory is that Lewis is no good I really feel sorry for you. Great day 'at' the footy for any true Demon fan.

Might upset many but I think JKH should come in. 47 possession vs Coburg and excellent yesterday before being subbed at halftime. Provides run at Etihad and will be fresh. Three 6 day breaks coming up. We will need some level of rotation.

Let's deal with some facts shall we. Lewis was excellent against StKilda,Hawthorn & Essen Don. Serviceable against Carlton,North & Adelaide. Poor in the first half v GC but was instrumental in the second half revival. Not his best today but not alone. Keep in mind we got him for virtually nothing. Yes, on reasonable coin but so r plenty in the AFL a lot worse than him.I, for one, was never expecting a full three years from him. Even if he gets to 2019 and is playing in more of a coaching role it will be a win. Our club has been screaming out for leadership and this is what he brings.Watch out for his true value of we happen to make finals!

So you'd given up. Nothing different. Always a chance in this one. Dominated second half but not on the board. Just admit Rono that you r glass is,and has always been, half empty. Sad individual.
-
Wonderful. Focus on a perceived negative after a great win. Lewis' leadership is invaluable. Hell be back. U have a sad life rono.

Whilst I am somewhat surprised at JKH selection,47 possessions in a tight game is quite exceptional and shows the kid definitely has something.Yes, would like to see him do it a few weeks on the trot, however, he will be brimming with confidence and a lot better placed when he came in earlier in the season. Actually saw him live at the Williams town game and he was less than ordinary. Staggeringly he was selected in the seniors the next week and played accordingly. If he makes the cut on Monday let's hope he can surprise us all and make his mark in a big game.

Is Angus wearing a helmet? In training vision he is wearing an MND beanie with what appears to be a chinstrap and a hint of a helmet underneath. I , for one, am hoping so. Whilst there appears to be conflicting medical opinion re the value of helmets for concussion, I think he has little to lose and might give him the added confidence he requires.

Having a debate with a Collingwood 'mate'. I am of the belief that loss of Gawn is as big for Melbourne as Pendlebury would be for the Pies. He thinks this premise is laughable. Am I delusional?
-
They have some depth. In:Mayne ,Cox, Kirby & Fasolo.
-
Good win by the Pies today but Freo were shizen. Sandilands was a big miss. Fyfe had to do some rucking!Collingwood injuries came late. Hill was injured early on for the Dockers and had little influence. Pies have won three in a row but struggled in this and average against the Hawks & Lions. Our biggest concerns are coming off the bye and no Gawn.
-
Adams said that Dunn had not played in "a real successful club and was loving it at Collingwood". Dumb but shouldn't make a difference. Why say it though? Mind u, wouldn't be happy if one our blokes had done the same.Reminds me of Dawes saying that the Hawks were 'ripe for the picking'. We got smashed.

Goldsack more than a 'knock'. If he plays a shoulder requiring surgery will have to hamper him.Greenwood I believe is a muscle injury which typically become worse after cooling down.Might get up but doubtful. Wells & Elliott definite outs.
-
Weather looks promising.
-
Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
-
Elliott, Goldsack,Wells & Greenwood all likely to be out.Maybe things turning our way. Also first time in awhile not facing a team on the rebound. Be great if Hogan played!
-
If Hogan in TMac could go back (not a forward) OMac out.Salem for Wagner who only came good late. Harmes kicked 3 goals but otherwise only average. ANB is safe.
-
Need to find room for Hogan (presumably available) and Salem.
-
Watts 'laconic'? Was he not speaking much on the ground?
-
Defended OMac until now. No more.
