  1. Please god, let this stop.
  2. If GC bid for him and we take him with pick 3 then he still represents great value, he'll be in a Melbourne jumper next year no doubt. He is exactly the type of player we need right now.
  3. If Neeld trades Martin then I'll be as happy as a pig in [censored]. I know there's a lot of people here who really like him and he is very agile for a big guy, but he's just a dumb footballer. It seems Neeld is going to get right of all of them as well, which makes me even happier. I could live with trading Martin for Wellingham. Actually it would be highway robbery but don't tell the pies that just yet.
  4. You have to play to get a medal /end thread (always wanted to say post that)
  5. Of that list I would hope that we'd keep: Bartram (depending on his injuries) Strauss (Would be silly to get rid of him just as he started to get over his injuries) MacDonald (Not a great player but we need his experience, even if it's just for the training track) Jetta (We don't have another small forward) Davis (Still developing) Spencer (Ruck insurance) Sellar (Plug the holes) Rivers (Experience) Dunn (I think the penny has finally dropped with this guy) I don't think that any will be really good players though, but we can't delist nearly half of our list in one season
  6. Was just about to post the same thing, how could Neeld be surprised he was leaving when they had an exit interview?
  7. meh, it's mad Monday Tuesday, I need to let my hair down after what we've all been through
  8. If that happens then I'll dead-set spew up!! I can't handle watching Moloney play in a Melbourne jumper again... boom boom tish You've been a wonderful crowd
  9. Getting rid of Moloney is the first step to improving our 'culture'. Actualy, strike that, getting Neeld and Craig on board was the first step, Moloney is the first casualty. Let's hope there's many more to come, time for the party boys to go.
  10. Is it [censored] over yet? The only thing I've been looking forward to is to find our where we get to take Jack Viney in the draft, how sad is that?
  11. Our 2nd rounder will be used on Viney
  12. I was highlighting the absurdity of the comment
  13. C'mon now (in a dodgey Father Ted accent). Yes, Mark Neeld put an axe in his hand and told him to go split his cousins head open. Jesus
  14. Jesus. I don't know what would be worse, this being true or someone making this [censored] up, either way there's some serious drugs involved.
  15. This issue that I had with the post was that chook was singling out Green as being a poor leader but the reality is that we don't have the info to make that conclusion, to solely blame Green for it. I've met Green and I've seen him train many times, he always works bloody hard. It's now clear that there are many 'bad apples' in the group, and the previous FD's have to take responsibility for; A. Not identifying them quickly enough and B.Not removing the problem makers before it spread further. That story about the players cancelling a time trial during the Bailey era just astounds me, in no other club would that be acceptable. The players have had too much power in our club, I just hope that neeld is strong enough and is given even support to get rid of these prima donnas. It now makes more sense with the leadership group chosen this year.
  16. Yeah, we [censored] up, everyone knows it, but it's well and truly time to accept it and move on. Honestly, what can we do about it now?
  17. You don't know that, neither do i. The reality is that we have no idea what went on and don't pretend you do.
  18. That's bullshiite, you can lead a person to water but you can't make them drink. Blame the previous FD's for bringing these people to the club and allowing this behaviour to develop and fester.
  19. Stupid, stupid little boy
  20. Yes, we don't know it all like how he was extremely [censored] off that he wasn't given the captaincy when Neitz retired, which was the real reason he left.
  21. Great news. Not sure why there's so much angst about the two years, he obviously backs himself to greatly improve over the next couple of years to maximise his earnings. I don't have an issue with it at all.
  22. I would be very surprised if we didn't offer him a new contract. The reality is that we don't have many KPP who can play at both ends and pinch hit in the ruck, also apart from the fact that he's actualy improved quite a bit over the season. IMO crazy to delist him now.
  23. 2 months ago I would have said no, but now I've changed my mind.
  24. I don't get it. We have a young player who clearly has some talent but who also has had a pretty poot run win injuries, now when he's finally starting to show something Melbourne fans are sticking the boot into him? Jesus, we should be celebrating the fact that he's finally putting some games together and understand that he'll be much better for the run and a proper pre-season.
