No, you've got it wrong. In his last season with us, in 2004, he played the first 13 games then he broke his foot and was out for the rest of the season.

No thank you. I had with The Age fantasy footy and watched him closely over several games. Injuries have wrecked him, just doesn't get enough of the ball any more. His main strength now is tackling. Too much of a risk for me, unless it's for a much later pick.

Shiel, Viney and Jones. That's a pretty decent nucleus of a midfield.

I like Howe and my preferance would be to keep him. However, I wouldn't hesitate to trade him for a young midfielder like Adams, especially if that meant we kept pick 2.

He was just recovering from an injury during the carnival and lacked fitness. If you want to get a better idea have a look at his end of season form in the SANFL.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. Evans, Tapscott, McKenzie, Magner and Howe wouldn't get a game at any other club as a midfielder. We have no A graders (with Viney the only one on our list with potential to get there, perhaps Toumpas as well), a warrior in N.Jones and then a collection of good ordinary types. I'm prepared to wait to see what Roos can do with the list but the reality is we need to inject 4+ talented mids into our rotations.

Adams, easily. no contest for me really, the only doubt would be trying to get him to the club.
