Obviously it's not a great result but at least the club know that they're still a long way off so hopefully they'll be completely switched on for round one. I was starting to get a bit worried that we were going to go into round 1 and be overconfident, at least this way we're going to be ready.

Live Draft room opens up 15 minutes before 7, log on, click on the pre-season draft tab and the link should be there. If it's like last year you'll have to turn off auto selections.

My only gripe about the current admininstration is that their bonuses are tied to maximising crowds meaning the fixture's sole purpose is to favour the larger clubs.

Draft day is here. It starts at 7:00pm and it's a quick 'Live draft' meaning everyone gets 1 minute per pick. Can everyone please try and log in a couple of minutes before 7:00 and now is your chance to set your pre-draft ranking. Good luck

My first reaction is that I won't allow MM's change, and that's purely from the point of view that I was wanting to pick Thomas up quite early myself.... I did make the rule, however this game is meant to be a bit of fun, we're not playing for sheep stations and I don't want to start the season off on a negative note. I put it in place to get everyone organised and to set the keepers, and it achieved it's desired result. MM has been on holiday and probably hasn't been able to commit enough time to setting it up properly, so I'm going to allow it. I apologise to anyone who now has to redo their pre-draft selection list.

I hate Denham, the guy makes stuff up to create a story and sell papers. But he was right about Melbourne and how incompetent we were.

Thanks MM, as previously mentioned I'll allow changes to the keepers up until the day before the draft due to injuries. Everyone has until this Sunday to finalize their keepers, the reason for this is that it gives everyone a week to work on their draft strategy but if anyone changes their keepers then the 'pre-draft rankings' section has to be redone. I don't want anyone to be disadvantaged due to a late injury but I also don't want people to lose all their work unnecessarily. Enjoy the holiday!

We're now waiting on two teams for their keepers, which is a bit frustrating considering how many requests I've made. I'm going to be pretty busy over the next couple of weeks so I need the keepers set for the last two teams by this Sunday, if you don't I can't guarantee that I'll remember to assign them for your team. No more warnings or requests, this is your last chance.

JCB, I'm comfortable with allowing a change to a keeper up until the day before the draft due to an injury, the only thing I ask is for eveyone to assign their keepers now so everyone can start planning for the draft. Injuries have much more of an impact in Ultimate Footy compared to Supercoach OMR, thank you for that and a good suggestion however that would go against everything that's been discussed and decided on in the past with regards to the keepers. I don't want to mess around with the rules too much, last year the comp worked really well under the rules we had in place.

I'm going to allow changes up until the day before the draft, I just ask if everyone can pick them asap so I can make sure that we're good to go. The last thing I want to do is assign someone their keepers if they forget to do it.
