  1. Operating Profits: 2022 $3.528 2023 $2.164 2024 $ 1.694
  2. Here is the actual extract from the Directors' Report (I hope the cat's OK?): $3.1m expense (including on-costs) relating to settlement of Angus Brayshaw’s 2024 – 2028 playing contract following his medical retirement. Whilst payments will be split across multiple financial years, the total cost (including on-costs) is required to be recorded as an expense in 2024 in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards;
  3. I understand we could have matched the bid with our pick - seems we were focussed on taking "AJ" at that pick no matter where Riak landed.
  4. Casey pre-season training starts next week, and their list won't be finalised until the new year.
  5. I wonder how we get reliable information about Casey and its list? Peter Maynard seems to do a great job down there as the Manager - maybe the administrators can establish a line into him?
  6. 23 in total by my count - 22 in the session - Adams doing laps. Tmac, Rivers, Sparrow, Chandler, Bowey, Hore, Viney, Salem from the oldies Sestan, Kentfield, Windsor, Moniz, Brown, McVee, Jefferson, Howes, Verrall, Woewodin, Tholstrup, Turner, Van Rooyen Right Slarti?
  7. Early good news is that no-one obviously in rehab, right Slarti?
  8. Reports from Echuca indicating he's working hard up there - Go Clayton.
  9. But wouldn't the camp include the entire group, so Years 1 -4 earlier at Gosch's/Casey?
  10. David Chippindall, formerly CFO and now COO has been at the club for years. He will definitely be able to steer the ship in the short term. Let's see what the Club has to say officially about the CEO's replacement.
  11. Good Idea DD. Your best post in years....
  12. He has been coaching down at Peninsula Grammar.
  13. I am not in the sack Goody camp Ollie. However, I am very interested to hear the "key findings" from the two reviews by early November.
  14. I didn't get bored. I thought Smith was great!
  15. Just thinking about economics - you suggest borrowing money, whilst keeping in tact a $30 million future fund? - that I believe is called saying goodbye to a negative spread - up against the wall. Management and the Board should be challenged to get this project done without any borrowings. Now, who on the Board is going to drive that? - the doctor, the auditor, the former player, the lawyer (s), the investment manager.....
  16. I don't think the plan includes any borrowing...
  17. It might be good to get someone onto the Board who has a significant fund-raising background. I assume it will be on the list of those Board Credentials soon to be published?
  18. ANB leaves a big hole (3rd in the B&F) - I hope Kade can step into that role. He has the work ethic to pull it off.
  19. Kade was 8th in the B&F - doing something right?
