  1. Don't worry. Just read where abouts, the report by Andy Lovell.
  2. Where do you get these stats from? Anywhere public?
  3. Poyas will be back after the break I'd say. Paterakis needed a shoulder reco and is soon travelling O.S. Yes, Waller ex Beauie boy. And I wouldn't read into the teams that are named in the paper/on this site. Players never line up that way and often there are players named on the ground that don't end up playing and players not on extended bench that do get a game.
  4. I see where you're coming from buddy but your "experiment" is flawed for the ultimate reason that the intensities are different. I see they're covering the same distance but at different intensities it's a ridiculous comparison. I know you're going to bring up game style running but neither of those situations actually occur. If the 400m was at 100% you'd be much more exhausted after that.
  5. I think Valenti is travelling with the side so hopefully there can be a late withdrawal (Bode, Jamar, ANYONE!) to bring him in.
  6. Agree 4 million %. Bode doesn't have it and never will. Guts of an easter egg. Frawley is just no good. When will you die hards learn? And dont pull to developing [censored]. And don't pull out the "look at Garland" card. I could see in his first couple of games and watching him at Sandy he had something about him. He just wasn't ready for the big time but is now slowly getting there. Frawley looks out of place at any level. Skill not up to standard, can't read the play well, speed and strenght no where near up to scratch. I hope i'm proven wrong but he is looking like another one of CAC's "great decisions".
  7. I don't think you'd have to make any promises. He'd pick himself week in, week out. He's a better player than Jones and i'd have him up there with Brock too. Only 5 games last year was more due to his broken arm where he missed ~8 weeks. He had his spot cemented untill then and the injury allowed the likes of Stokes and Byrnes to play the majority of the season and steal his spot.
  8. The 2's are playing Casey again this weekend. Pretty sure Newton is coming through the 2's.
  9. You people are a bunch of soft maggots. I'd like to see how most of you go in a proper blue if you consider that a headbutt. He shouldn't have got anything at all. The dopey [censored]'s just moved their heads towards eachother as they pulled eachother during their little show of strength. They should both get done for headbutting if one does.
  10. Just thought i'd let you know that Buckley was moved onto Danny Nicholls (VFL state rover) in the 2nd quarter because he was getting a fair bit of it. In the second half he had 1 possesion on Bucks. Just a reminder that he can play defensive when given a task. I think he just needs to be constantly reminded of it.
  11. Extremely dissapointed about Shane and what a [censored] of a thing to do to him. He can't go back this weekend and play VFL because it is the state week and the Vics are playing which he could have played for up untill he got his first AFL game. Now obviously you would take your first game whenever you can but to play him only 2 games and then drop him for no obvious reason is just ridiculous! They may aswell have let him play for Victoria and then played him after this week. I don't know what goes on in this blokes (DB's) head. Seriously!
  12. I wasn't sure of Palmer pre-draft but now i am all over him. And just because he is already dominating doesn't mean he is at his best. He will only get fitter, faster, stronger, more skilled and learn to deal with opposition players. To say that he's reached his peak at age 18 or 19 is ridiculous. A gun now and will only get better!
  13. White couldn't play FF. He would be no good there.
  14. For some reason 61 is coming to my mind so i'm gonna stick say 61%.
  15. Mitch Thorp at the Hawks is an arrogant prcik but can play the game. Hawthorn won't want to let him go but with limited opportunities thanks to Buddy, Roughhead and Boyle when he's right i wonder if he might want to go somewhere else. I reckon he is as good as Mitch Clark up north and would certainly be the answer to the Dees CHF problems. I'd be chasing him if i were Melbourne. Give up Pick 17 and even a plyer if they want it.
  16. Boyle hasn't played for the last month or so i don't think.
  17. My tip is Paul Johnson will ask for it. And if not him i would give it to Valenti, he would respect it and want to di the number proud.
  18. He's playing. Of course he's playing!
  19. I don't know what game you were watching. He was ordinary. And played most of his game as a forward in a negative role on Cloke. He will never be up to AFL standard as a ruckman.
  20. I reckon it was more head related. I noticed the Sandringham doctor looking into his eyes with one of those little torch things. Getting him to try and focus and stuff. He also got up to do a few run throughs on occassions which makes me think he was testing something rather than having gastro/stomach pains.
  21. I think you'll find it was unrelated to the sickness that kept him out of last weeks game.
  22. Have to disagree with you on a couple of things there. Johnson's opponents were the 2 most influencial players in the game so for that reason is no where near BOG. Skipper and more so Street were dominant in the ruck, gave them first use at the stoppages and ran forward without any defensive pressure too often. Also, Valenti only looks slow in your eyes becuase he gets the ball in tight positions. If he was an outside runner like Buckley (who you all say has so much speed) you'd all say he was quick. He so often gets the ball with 2/3 opponents around him and does so well to clear the ball as he does. Valenti is in Melbourne's best 22 at the moment and should/deserves to get a game.
  23. Yeah those 4 have been playing of in recent weeks. In fact, the 4 of them are playing in 2 curtain raiser games beofre the All-Star game on Saturday night.
