  1. If we do cut our NT agreement, I would prefer we cut out the Darwin game. Alice Springs would be easier on the players.
  2. Gawny is indeed hilarious, have also wondered why he doesn't get a gig on any footy show, well maybe for the fact he's still playing.
  3. It's scary how you realise how ordinary he is when he isn't in the red and blue as I thought he was decent in his time here. Also, didn't he leave Melbourne on bad terms?
  4. A bit harsh on Tyson perhaps, but otherwise I agree.
  5. 40 Disposals, while Prestia gets injured again (albeit minor). Hall will be a superstar.
  6. I believe we were more impotent in those middle quarters than lacking intensity. They should've buried us late in the 3rd when we dropped off but they didn't and we made them pay the price. No way were those middle quarters as bad as the effort that the Dees put against the Bombers.
  7. White, Omac and Wagner could be best 22 in the near future. All have shown promise but probably aren't up to it just yet.
  8. One loss will not derail our season. Expect the players to bounce back.
  9. I think we are a genuine chance. It seems we get thumped when we're favourites but seem to pull off an upset every now and again.
  10. North, Pies, Tigers and Saints. 3-3 or 4-2 would do me.
  11. We always seem to go to [censored] when we are favourites. It really pisses me off because it takes away from wins against Geelong, Adelaide, GWS, etc. The players need to step the [censored] up and stop dishing this [censored] up.
  12. I watched all my pre-season optimism go down the gutter, I was confident but [censored] that was [censored] poor, the players deserve what Roos will dish out at the press conference.
  13. You know for once, I wanted to feel as if we were past these types of performances. Forget the umpiring, we've been [censored]house today and I really hope we come out firing in the second half.
  14. If it rains, Essendon will be a chance. They want to make this game a boring slog, I can feel it. But we are the fitter team and I don't think they'll last 4 quarters, so we should win. No excuses.
  15. Watch all my pre-season optimism trickle down the gutter.
  16. Apparently some player agent came out with the call to ban blindside tackles. I personally believe it's ridiculous and is going too far. Thoughts?
  17. It'll be very likely that Hogan will be closely checked by multiple defenders throughout the day. The Bombers will want to play a low scoring affair to make up for their lack of scoring power. Dees by 40+, Hogan to kick 3.
  18. Sad they won't be using the red version this year, but the AFL wouldn't allow it to be used for more than 1-2 games.
  19. Knows his limitations then, which in turn will make him a better footballer.
  20. Honestly thought Hulett would be far away considering his run of injuries before being drafted. Like the look of Wagner, was a bit nervy against the Saints but him, Omac and White could all be solid down back. The depth this team has got now makes me so happy.
  21. I've noticed that Round 1 the past few seasons has always been higher scoring due to rustiness. I still believe there will be quite a few dour and very low scoring games this year, but those aforementioned rule changes might cause more shootouts. We'll know whether goal fests are really back by round 5 or 6.
  22. After watching Oliver's blinder of a first half, I thought about who else we're going to debut throughout the year. Tracs a given, is Max King a possibility? Hunt? Maybe even Weeds if Frost or Pedo are injured. Who do you guys think'll pull on the red and blue for the first time this year?
  23. Let him play some games at Casey. No use throwing him in against Essendon when we've got to try and fit in Dunn, Brayshaw, etc.
  24. A lot of unfulfilled and wasted talent there. Actually makes me feel sad compared to sick.
