I'm of the same opinion, if things don't change. We simply cannot risk missing finals in 2021 by sticking with him and writing the year off and having to do a mid season sacking anyway. A 2 year payout would be hard to take, but bouncing back with a new coach would invigorate the fans (Roosurrection days) and a fresh new style might see us bring in more people to the games, and making a surprise finals surge would reap profits that would make a payout palatable. A big 15 games ahead.

I would just hope the club is prepared to gamble on a bank loan to pay his 2 years out at the end of year, if its more of the same on field for the next 16 matches. Banking on a new coach turn around and final$ windfall in 2021 would surely be more cost effective than writing off 21' just to "save" a big payout.
