Hi Ghostwriter did any of the usual training reporters turn up at Goshโs today? Also how was Matty Jefferson looking, he looked ok in the training gallery yesterday.๐๐

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
My grandson is playing at 1:30 and his mum is our driver, so we will be watching basketball as well. ๐ข

Media Madness
You are right Redleg I started to hear the AFL stirring from their slumber on 360 last night now the bells are going off in all directions. Good call.

Media Madness
Agree LDvC seems a bit harsh for something so trivial, a censure would be sufficient, most people seem to think it is amusing. ๐

Media Madness
Thatโs good to know KC But what is his punishment??
-
Media Madness
But not in the Media, or at his club he should be suspended by the AFL and His club. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

PODCAST: Harvey Langford Interview
Thanks Andy great interview loved the way you got Harvey involved great questions and the fact that he listened and then answered with a bit of detail. Sounds like a really well grounded young man, thereโs a lot to like about Harvey โThe Bisonโ Langford.๐๐

The Steven May appreciation thread
Agree FND he stood up really well, he and TMac both did especially when Disco was sent forward to replace Harry Petty after half time we were a bit short forward and back. You can feel that Maysie isnโt quite right but he is such a great competitor.

Media Madness
Iโll quote my mother again with regards to gossip, as I have all my adult life - Believe Nothing That You Hear and Only Half Of What You See. if Clayton Oliver comes out at the end of the year and says I want a trade then and only then will I give it any credibility. I no longer rely on the AFL media circus and sadly try to glean my intelligence from Demonland, with mixed results. lolโฆ.!!!!

PODCAST: Harvey Langford Interview
So many great questions, as one of those supporters who was greatly relieved and surprised that Harvey was still there at pick 6 I will enjoy this interview immensely, thanks Andy and all posters.

PODCAST: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Thanks Andy, George and Binman for another great listen, also all posters for their great questions and comments. I think that we are all a bit anxious about the Hawks this week and weโre all hoping that our boys can continue to fight our way back. The Ins will be so important this week, I also hope that Rooey gets a gig.

Stats File - 2025 edition
Thanks DD we are seeing some positive signs with the playing group our top 6 are performing to a higher level and players 7-12 are also performing adequately so either our bottom 6-8 are performing poorly or playing a team role that lowers their individual score however it is affecting our team score.

VOTES: Rd 08 vs West Coast
6 - Max ๐๐๐๐๐j 5 - Chin 4 - Tracc 3 - JV 2 - Disco 1 - Rivers Great team effort, dominated early but didnโt get the rewards, another great 3rd quarter and finally played a good 4th. TMac, Lingers, Langford, Windsor and Jake Bowey and Spargo were all good.๐

The 2025 Indigenous Guernsey
Yes brilliant effort, I was just admiring it on the MFC website also agree how cool that Kozzieโs dad Kevin designed it.โค๏ธ๐

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
How about high level involvement at Motorola and Vodafone for starters, they are a good sample size Adam, look him up he has a proven record.

Training Ground?
When we are so far down the Caulfield track why would James Hird put his nose into our business, everyone outside the club waffle on. Gary Pert is managing the Caulfield Project and only he, the Board and Pres would have a handle on where we are at. The rest is pure speculation.
-
Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
My take on it Deestroye from one of his interviews was that he was approached a month ago that implies the club was still on the hunt until Paul Guera entered the fray so to speak.๐๐
-
Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Thanks JVAM, I thought that Paul spoke very well in his first MFC interview, intelligence, experience and confidence will take you a long way but also wouldโve liked him onboard asap.
-
Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Cameron Schwab had three stints as CEO one at Richmond two at Dees so couldnโt have been a total write off.๐ณ๐ณ๐๐

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Iโm making a prediction here right now - Clayton Oliver, Christian Petracca and Kasaiah Pickett will be wearing Demon colours in 2026. Come what May.!!!!

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Dazzle itโs not like heโs been home schooled, sometimes it is refreshing to get someone in that hasnโt been modelled by the System, that way they can think outside the Box and we could do with a new perspective. He will be coached by our Board and people close to the club.
